Summary:

Gotham City has a spirit. Many debate the qualities of the spirit. Some see she's as black as night and other say he's a pale white that glows in the night. One thing everyone could agree on, though, was that Gotham had something other in Its presence.

One group of fanatics was determined to summon Gotham and use Its power to raze the city. Another worshiped the ground and prayed It would protect them from the next rogue attack. Magicians and occult groups weren’t too common but they also weren’t uncommon. Many weren’t even noticeable, a simple blip on the radar.

This group, however, had a slightly more unusual take.

They planned to summon Gotham's spirit by using Nightwing as a sacrifice.

ok i just discovered the Protect Them with Your Bloodied Wings marble hornets fic what's the situation with that fic right now i really really like it

Hey! So, right now, there’s a lot of personal stuff that’s come up so I’m not really able to work on it right now, but I’m definitely going to continue it. I’m not sure when the next update will be, hopefully once everything calms down, but as of right now the next few chapters are all still WIPs.

I’m not dropping the story, so no one needs to worry about that, because I already have everything planned out. I just have to write out, edit, and post the chapters. I haven’t been able to write much if at all, the past month due to life circumstances that are really serious.

That story is also going to be a lot larger than some other shorter ones that are also in the works, so some other shorter stories might pop up before the next chapter of the fic is out to help y’all get some content still. So that’s why other shorter stories might come out before the next update, but I’m definitely still planning to work on it!

It's taken me a solid hour and a half and I'm still not finished transferring over chapter 1 of Protect Them with Your Bloody Wings because my laptop is so slow

Having to transfer stuff from one program to another while making sure it's formatted and being seen correctly is such a pain oml

Good news: Chapter is going up soon
