Caregiver! Glamrock Freddy Headcanons
(Side note: My AU name for Glamrock Freddy is Bowie, so that’s how I’ll be referring to him in this post.)
⭐️ Great with regressors of all ages. Whether you’re the tiniest little baby, or a teen regressor, he’s open to take care of anyone.
⭐️ Understands that touch can be hard for you. He’s autistic himself and touch can be a bit iffy for him too.
⭐️ Whether we’re talking about him as an animatronic or as an anthropomorphic bear, this man can lift a lot of weight. The most he’s able to lift is at least 400lbs (181.4kg) so he’s able to pick up regressors of all body types. And if you think he can’t, by god, this man is gonna try and pick you up and hold you close. If you want him to, that is.
⭐️ Bowie’s a-ok with a variety of pet names. Whether you wanna call him “dada,” “daddy,” “papa,” “bubba,” or simply by his name. He doesn’t mind at all.
⭐️ Always has gear on him. If we’re talking about him as an animatronic, he has pacifiers and teethers hidden in his stomach hatch. If we’re talking about him as an anthro, he has a backpack that he carries around with all sorts of things in it, including pacifiers, teethers, diapers, and a first aid kit.
⭐️ Always up for playing with you. No matter how you play, he’s always ready to play with you. He enjoys singing with you as well.
⭐️ Gives the best hugs. Think the hugs Asgore gives Kris in Deltarune.
⭐️ Not afraid to put his foot down, but is very gentle about it. He puts you in timeout, not to punish you, but to get you to calm down a bit. He’s hyper-empathetic, so if you’re bawling your eyes out, it’s most likely he’d end up crying with you. He’s never been comfortable with punishments, so instead, he uses your outbursts as a way to teach you things.
⭐️ He tries his best with diapers and pull-ups. He’s terrified that he’ll make you feel uncomfortable whilst changing you. But after some time, he gets the hang of it. He gently talks to you through the process to make sure you’re never uncomfortable.
⭐️ If you’re more independent, he’s completely understanding and supportive. He’ll watch you from a distance, making sure you’re doing ok, and only stepping in when you ask him to or you absolutely need his help/supervision.
⭐️ One of his favorite ways to calm you down is by singing. His favorite song to sing you is Daisy Bell.
⭐️ If you’re anxious, he’ll walk with you. Whether it’s around the block by his house, or just a loop around the PizzaPlex. If you’re ok with it, he’ll hold your hand as well.
⭐️ Very protective. He’s scared of losing you like how he lost Bonnie. He’s almost always carrying you or holding your hand if you let him. If you don’t, he’s always checking in on you. It’s not out of malice, he’s just paranoid.
⭐️ Very good with trans regressors too. He’s a trans man himself, so he’s a pro at helping you through dysphoric episodes. Whether you need affirmations about your gender or a shoulder to cry on, Bowie’s always open to listen and comfort you.
⭐️ Lets you sleep on the couch in his green room and snuggle with the giant plushie of him. He has blankets in one of the closets in there (both weighted and not weighted) and will cover you with one if you want him to.
