i've been a kpop stan since 2014.
i have experienced members leaving groups such as wonho from monsta x, hoya from infinite, b.i from ikon, sungchan/shotaro/lucas from nct and many more.
i have experienced groups disbanding like 4minute, sistar, gugudan, wonder girls, gfriend, b.a.p, clc, pristin, weki meki, i.o.i, iz*one and many more.
i grieved for sulli from f(x), jonghyun from shinee, hara from kara, eunb and rise from ladies code and moonbin from astro.
i haven't been stanning new groups for a while now, not just because of these reasons, but because of life. i grew up, and while i listen to new songs and groups, i don't have much time to invest in them like i did when i was younger. i really thought i was over this, the pain and heartbreak of being a kpop stan, and that maybe i got used to it.
i didn't. because after all, it's not something you can get used to, especially when it comes to someone you like and admire so much. they always say don't get attached. i always fail to do so, just like many of us do.
thank you for these amazing 10 years full of joy and hard work you gave us mark. i have been there since 2016, followed your career since the 7th sense and i never stopped for a day. you inspire me so much, with how hard you worked as a member of nct u, as a member of 127, as a member of dream, as a soloist, with how kind hearted you are, with the way you love and care for your members, with how amazing of a leader you were for our 7dream. i hope whatever path you choose to walk on will make you happy and fulfilled and i will be here, following and supporting you throughout all of it. you worked hard and you did so well mark, and me and all other czennie will cherish every moment and memory we were able to spend with you. it hurts and it feels unreal, but it doesn't mean it all ends right here. thank you mark for these 10 years and good luck on your next journey💚
