I'm on medical leave from both work and school and now that I'm not continually plagued by fevers I'm drawin a lil...although as soon as my head doesn't feel like lead I need to get back to schoolwork.

I've also been having a lot of nosebleed and it keeps happening when I'm eating-- it's really upsetting. First my noodles went limp and my beef went cold. First time was so unexpected I bled into my hands and then onto the floor... that was interesting.

Mary's Room.

The knowledge argument, or the argument against physicalism, and one of the arguments is explained in the thought experiment called "Mary's Room."

The experiment follows as this:

Say we have a girl named Mary in a room that's completely black and white. She herself also will be painted white or black so she has no colour experience what so ever. However, we teach her every single physical component and knowledge there is about color-- the light reflection, the waves, what there is to be known about colour, we teach her. Thus, she knows everything about colour. She knows what is supposed to be red or blue or so on.

One day we take Mary out of this room, and we show her the world with colour. If she learns something new by looking at the colour herself, then there is more than physical knowledge or there is more than just the physical, proving qualia to exist, thus proving physicalism wrong. Intuitively, we think yes, she will learn something new, for experience of things such as colour has a certain effect that's individual to us and not something we can describe in physical descriptions.

Although this might be irrelevant to the game as an overall theory, here's the thought that connected this to the game...

Mary's Room is an argument against physicalism-- that everything, including the mental is physical. Relevant to the game since it takes place in a place that doesn't seem like the physical world where the museum is, but rather in the life of Guertena's artworks--Where Mary exists.

just wondering, but what do you think of present-day epik high (now that they're back from hiatus) ?

Hmm I have... pretty mixed feelings to be honest. Half of me is really happy that they're back but the other half of me is slightly disappointed because of the label change. One of the thing I liked the best about epik high was that they were ALL about the music, y'know? Most of their album covers were just... artwork and their promotion photos were really classy like them in suits or neat clothes or even just comfy sweatshirt and jeans. (Last being my favorite)

But with them joining YG, it looks like they had to ..mess with their image a lot to kinda fit with YG's overall style which is understandable but kind of painful to me as a fan who really liked them for not being the typical KPOP band where the fashion comes first and music comes like third place. So I'm pretty.. turned off right off the bat.

But of course, I didn't get into epik high because they were the only group havin MVs in sweatshirts, and here's what I think of their newly released stuff... so far.

I don't really like any of the tracks yet. I think one of the turn off points is that nearly all of the songs are love based which is ... shit we all hear all the time so it's... really boring. I was really hoping for something like when they made mapping the human soul or lovescream where love songs are scarce but deep songs were all over the album... I was really excited for their collab with Dynamic Duo but that song sounds really... really mainstream pop? I don't know what's up with their tracklist for this album since it all sounds painfully generic. I KNOW they haven't fallen off the deep end since Tablo's solo album had AMAZING tracks in it like Home and Thankful Breath, although I didn't like the single "Bad" at all.

I'm a ...pretty die hard fan though, I'm going to keep my hopes up and listen to the album a bit more and see if I can appreciate it or.. just wait til they come out with more stuff. It's been a very long hiatus, I can't expect them to come back to it right away haha.

When I was out today I saw a sky like this. I really wish I could've taken a photo but I was driving so I couldn't.

The day moon was high in the sky and all the clouds were sunken right above the quiet cityscape. It was really nice.
