Summer Freedom || An Atlas Starter
Phillip knew that summer meant more freedom then he was used to when compared to the school year; yet he couldn’t bring himself to completely abandon his education like so many of his peers. It seemed like everywhere he went, the students who had chosen to stay at Atlas were throwing countless parties, diving head first into reckless abandonment, forgetting the control and focus that were pushed onto them during the school year. For Phillip, it was slightly frustrating, so he did his best to avoid it. Finding himself alone at the pool, his sunglasses, he leaned against a wall, sighing slightly. Opening up a book, he felt pretty much at peace until he heard someone shout loudly and jump into the pool. “Seriously?” he groaned to himself. “I swear I’m not healing a single person who finds themselves injured simply due to their idiotic stunts or carelessness. “
Genevieve enjoyed people watching while she was out of her rom. It made the time pass, especially when she wasn’t around everyone she found. In Atlas something always seemed to be happening whether it was people being stupid or just relationship drama, wherever one turned something was going down.
So it was no surprise that during her walk past the pool she witnessed another act of stupidity. A boy throwing himself as quickly as they could into the shallow waters of the pool in front of him all the while screaming like a maniac. Shaking her head she continued to walk. From her left she heard someone made a comment that brought a smile to her lips.
“What? You’re not one for helping those who suffer from idiocy?” She asked laughing a bit as she did. The brunette looked over the other whom she decided that she had never had an interaction with.
