I'm my boyfriend and my best friend's cupid.

Dr. Choi- who is a famous neurologist - had an accident and due to this accident, he had a temporary selective amnesia. Driven by plot, he forgot the person he loved the most, Nurse Yoon. They were together for 2 years and he was already planning on proposing to Han. On the other hand, Dr. Choi got this bestfriend, Dr. Hong- a pediatrician.

Shuji met Han first as they were blockmates during pre-med. Not gonna lie, Cheol knew that Shuji got unspoken feelings brewing for Han but he right away intercepted as he fell in love with Han at first sight when Cheol got transferred to Go Hospital.

Now, the thing is he had an accident and amnesia. As advised by the Doc Ji, another neuro, they shouldn't trigger memories as it may worsen.

Han kept staying by his side as his personal care nurse. Cheol would sometimes flirt with Han even without memories but as day goes by, he's realizing something- his best friend, Shuji, is in love with his nurse. It's the way he personally knew his bestfriend. From the mannerisms, the way he speaks, the way he humbles himself really well when he's nervous, Cheol caught it.

Our amnesiac decided to play cupid despite this cranky feeling he has inside him. Still, he did. To divert his own attention, he started keeping Doc Ji by his side- mostly for neuro med talks and this is also to keep this cutie nurse free from attending to him.

At first, it didn't work as Nurse Han kept staying by his side. Sometimes, even listening to him and Doc Ji talk. He thought nothing would change till one day, he saw Nurse Han hugging his bestfriend. That's his point of view but in reality, Shuji was just consoling him after hearing from Han how happy Cheol seemed to be these days. He was so radiant to the point he seemed to be not worrying about what he might have forgotten.

Things go on and on to the point, they've given up. He cannot remember Han. Probably that temporary thing wasn't just temporary but permanent. Han accepted the fact as well that Cheol might be enjoying Ji's company instead. Might be time to move on. He did.

Let's say 3 years have passed. Shuji and Han have been together for a year and having known each other for so long, the two decided to get married. Ji and Cheol were also together for roughly half a year as well.

On the day of the wedding, while the two exchanged vows, Cheol got dizzy. His eyesight blinded for a few minutes and when it all cleared up, he saw the person he loved the most marrying the man he trusted the most because of him.

An Unaccountable Liar

I wrote a letter addressed to you without your name on it and yet not a second went by and you called me out asking if it was yours to begin with. No, I replied. It isn't. It wasn't written for anyone. It was all nothing but random thoughts my pen would like to speak forward. A whimsical nonsense I can't bear to just keep. The fear when you tap on my shoulders as you signal your turn to stand after your flight getting called out.

The fear of being left alone after all the joy.

I only got to thank myself for not failing myself.

I forgot I've loved you so much that I wasn't able to prepare my emotions when I met you again and all I remembered was that we were once so happy... that... that when I got to talk to you again, excitement were all the emotions I was able to bring up.

When I saw you walking to board up your flight, it reminded me, then, again, of how you left.

I questioned myself on how I forgot the number of times I've cursed your name over and over again and again and again... and yet, again, I curse your name.

That despite my supposed anger, my body responded the way it missed the happiness when I'm with you.

It reminded me that despite the years of being apart and not meeting right that night of the confrontation, with you leaving me doubtful of myself, I still missed you. That I still miss the person you are despite everything.

Nope, it wasn't a mess when I met you again.

I'm reading this story entitled "The Neglected Marriage". It's a bl cnovel. I'm getting stressed as I continue forward but I'm quite expectant of the course of the story. Basically, it's about a beta who's been neglected for 3 or 5 years because the beta's family forced the alpha to marry him after they slept once. The twist was that they lived in the family manor of the alpha and it so happened that his brother in law who is also an alpha stayed in the family manor together with her daughter. He's got no wife. The three became closed during the absence of the alpha husband. It's been developing quite well.

Honestly, I want them to elope with the kid afterall even the kid wanted the beta to be her mother, but the BIL is the city mayor. He's got a reputation to protect and even if the alpha husband has been on a cheating spree even getting scandalous reports in the internet, the two of them find it inappropriate to be together which is infuriating at some point because I want them to be together.

What's worse is that the beta saved his husband from getting stabbed so now he's changed and wanted to make up with the years he's been neglectful. Like dude please don't be nice. They're becoming something and now you wanna be in the picture. Like you've been gone for years, just stay that way. 😭😭😭😭😭

My morals are getting tested but like there are instances that can be excused right?

Let You Break My Heart Again

Sitting up on the bed, Atsumu stared at the glaring rising sun by the window, he's used to this damped, hollow feeling- covered in sheets with bruised neck and wrists meanwhile next to him is a cold space as if telling him Kiyoomi's long gone.

Atsumu slowly moved his body as he winced in pain. He slowly picked up his clothes and went to wash himself. When he stared at his reflection, he couldn't help but pity himself. He loves Kiyoomi too much.

Too much he's letting himself get used to pain. Pain of being not the first choice. Pain of being a back up plan. Pain of being a bed warmer but not a lover.

He scrubbed his face as if it would make him numb. He cried as the pain seethes through as he touched the marks Kiyo left on him- marks he once thought marks of love but now it's nothing but shackles

because he never thought that getting used to pain would not mean being numb to pain. It still hurts...

After he got himself cleaned up, he walked out and prepared his breakfast. It wasn't like this before. It was all sugar and honey. Him waking up with his marks treated, clean and cuddled. And when they get up, they'd hand and hand make breakfast.

A week after it got colder and colder. Then he learned he was getting played with. His heart toyed, and yet Atsumu still loved him. So he begged. Begged Kiyo to stay and he did. But only to be treated like trash.

Kiyo would come back late at night. Sometimes, Kiyo would hug him like it's back to before then comes the sweet kisses that eventually turns into rough plowing and him passing out then waking up only to pass out again. Then, when Atsumu would wake up, he's all alone, slimy and in pain like today.

While waiting for his toast, he received a voice mail from his twin which broke his heart once again.

I swear Tsumu! if you're still with Kiyo like I'm hearing around, I'll drag you back home. Please have some self-respect. The guy doesn't care about you. And... No wonder he was happy last night.

She even talked to someone but it didn't work out only because they both didn't meet halfway.

But fuck. She has moved on. She's quite sure of it. She's ready to meet someone. But she's here standing next to the table holding her phone, getting mad, confused, contemplating whether to reply. If she's gonna mad reply or act like everything's fine like how it was earlier before she read the message. She's close to tears once again. She grabbed her cocktail. Gulped it at once.

It was christmas. The first in years that I've been alone. The morning of the 23rd I had a bit of time off and I realized I haven't shopped for the holidays. i bought a couple of stuffs that when I reached the counter I realized I bought too much for someone who's alone for holidays- worst, habit made me buy some of your favorites that had always clashed with my taste. But the woman had bagged them and I've given my card and I guess my self decided into bringing them home.

An hour before Christmas, I took the ham and cheese board with me in the bedside window overlooking the whole city glimmering in colorful lights and singing songs. As the bell chimed, it's 12. I said, Merry Christmas as I sipped my wine that's now half a bottle less and I'm full. My board had half of the ham and an unopened cheese block.

I wish I wasn't alone.

Maybe, Santa heard that and dropped me a gift at my door.

The doorbell kept ringing and as the door swung open, your face was there.

"Merry christmas" you said. In your hand, the same wine I bought. The same ham I ate. The same unopened cheese I have on the board.

"Come inside." I said.

Though I know by the morning, I wished you were never here hoping the you stayed as a happy memory. But I also know, since you came, I'll let you stay.

"Sorry. Let's break up." Omi said. Now, it's pretty serious.

If it were another time Atsumu would have broken down. If it were last week- no, scratch that- if it were last month, he would have begged hard like he always had. Instead, tonight, he just nodded his head. His eyes were blank.

Atsumu looked at Omi stood up and walked his way out of their favorite spot.

A tear, no, almost a tear left of his eyes as he walked away but nonetheless, they did not. He realized how tired his body was. That loving someone who can't love you back is actually taxing. How a relationship will never work even if you give your best so long as you're the only one making it work.

Tonight as he stared at the empty spot, he just pressed his lips together and surprisingly the corner was slightly upturned.

Tonight it's not painful. Tonight he felt at peace like he never thought heartbreak could feel like this- from everything to nothing at all.

Tonight he felt relieved. Just like the song he sang, it's ok if you forget me, I don't feel empty now that you're gone. Does that mean it didn't mean nothing at all? But I'll tell you what the worst is - It's the way it doesn't hurt when I wish it did.

Train Ride

It's 5pm. Riding solo in the public train with unfamiliar faces. Holding on the railings with the tips of my fingers. Regret consumed me when I gave my seat to the fifty-ish lady whom I thought would need it, disregarding how I needed it too. How dangerous habits could be.

As the train started moving slowly gradually changing its speed, my fingers were slipping the handles. The lady looked at me feeling sorry. She looked tired and her joints must be hurting too. Consoling myself, I guess, was my worst character. Maybe if I didn't give in too quick the guy on the opposite seat would have offered his seat to her. How I wish, I wasn't like this. Maybe if I wasn't, I'm sitting comfortably on a newly furnished train seat and not standing and slowly losing balance.

The train is at its speed and I've been bumping the people behind me. The train made its stop and my body accelerated forward, how I wish someone had held even just the tip of my hoodie and so maybe I hadn't stumbled, I'm not bruised and hurt.

The lady who I made to sit on my former seat called me as she claimed the seat next to her is finally available when the person walked off at the last stop.

"I'm sorry. Did you bleed when you fell? You shouldn't have given me your seat. I'm sure someone else will."

"I guess I really did need it. You need not to be sorry. It was just an impulse, something out of habit."

A habit when I once had an arm to hold on to when I can't reach the handle. When I never had to worry about slipping or falling forward because I know someone will pull me back before I hurt. I must have humored myself too much.

Habits. Really. Just habits.

Cheol walked slowly back to the group as they eat their lunch.

"I'm dying." He spoke. The members were shocked- mostly, in silence as the bomb was dropped.

'What the actual fuck are you talking about?" Han asked him. Not gonna lie, he's lowkey scared. He cannot imagine what will happen to them if Cheol really dies.

"Have you consulted a doctor? What happened?" Joshua spoke in a very flat tone. His face shows this lack of care as if he really doesn't mind compared to everyone who has definite changes of worry or shock, well maybe except for Wonwoo who has a regular flat face, unlike Vernon who can be said to be shocked but more like amazed.

Vernon eventually wiggled his eyebrows as if a memory made a 360 lap in a second. "Aha! Is this because of your frequent LBM?" He spat unabashed.

"Guys..." Joshua started as he sighed looking at Vernon. "Continue your lunch. Nothing's wrong with Cheol. It's another one of his ask mr. google series."

Dk stared at Cheol as his "O" mouth turned to -_- Woozi even started to eat his meal again silently.

"Really? Cheol?" Han asked as he slap his own forehead wondering when will he ever gonna be used to this.

"But guys!!! It says here that I might have cancer. What if it's already malignant." He refuted.

"Calm down. Eat. I'll go with you later to the hospital for check-up." Joshua walked him to the table and gave him a plate for his share.

After the check-up, as usual, the doctor said it was just his lactose intolerance kicking up after he ate a gallon of ice cream on his own.

Spirit Callers

Jun is a brother everyone would want. He is caring and on the goofy side. He looks good and smart. Despite losing their parents in a plane crash years ago, he's been a good brother and friend to everyone around him. Who would have thought that one day as Dino calls for him in his room, he found nothing inside. Literally nothing like a void. Han thinks it was posted on the door but it eventually fell off. As he checked the back he saw a long paragraph that was written in fading ink.

Sealed with a Kiss

Demon Han once got lost in the human realm and he was found by a cute little boy who said he was beautiful with his long hair and promised to marry him once he got bigger. The kid gave him a plastic ring he got as a free toy from a chips bag. Mischievously, the kid has stolen a kiss on his lips and ran away. For him, it was just a playful thing that kids would do. He's also not the evil kind of demon who would finalize this as a contract. So as soon as his attendant came to collect him back to the demon world, he forgot everything about the kid.

20 days later, he was about to marry another demon when the marriage contract between them wouldn't work. Upon checking the council, it was found out that Demon Han who is currently 27 years old in demon years is married to a human named Cholo Choi currently 30 years old in human age. Apparently, the contract worked as it was sealed with a kiss. He needs to cancel the contract and unlike any demon contract that can be nulled by any of the participants as long as they found any fault, a marriage contract, to be canceled needs to be approved by both parties.

Now, he needs to go and meet his reckless husband hoping he hasn't married any human yet or else he'll be desecrating the vows of marriage and will be dealt with harshly by the council.

Shipped - Shopped!

Joshua's been oddly irritated when he found out that his boyfriend DK bought the same pair of new rubber shoes that were recently checked out from his online shopping account. At first, he thought it was just a coincidence but he noticed, it was the same case for the sweater shirt that was bought last week and the necklace checked out a month ago.

Like the gentleman he is, at first he let it be and stayed calm but he really wouldn't be this antsy at all if only those items in his cart were HIS or for HIM to wear!

News flash, they weren't- it was Jeonghan's. He doesn't want Seungcheol to find out about his gifts so he orders through Joshua's account.

What's the catch anyway? Why be irate about this? Oh boy! If only his innocent boyfriend, DK, has a dummy account on Twitter, he would have seen how their fans ship him with Seungcheol. Which is utterly blasphemous!

Like when Dk wore the same sweater as Cheol on the same day but at different events. When they were seen to have matching shirts with just different colors in one of their shows. When both of them wore the same necklace throughout their whole tour.

Those were just little fan drivel but Jeonghan got him. The devil spawn kept on sending him screenshots of the ships and kept on prodding DK to take selfies with Seungcheol to post in IG stories, Twitter, or Weverse- making this utter bull grow big and even trend. Jeonghan is evil through and through.

Of course, he can't stay irritated but this time, he definitely promised Jeonghan can't have his way to his phone ever again!
