Idk if you're doing asks rn but figured I'd shoot my shot, i was wondering (for the sake of oc and character art) what the outfit designs of the LIs are based off of? And also what they'd wear as casual and non-work formal outfits.

for outfit designs i'm gonna be real with you chief, there is no formal inspiration that they're based off of. a lot of what i drew for the designs was just whatever i randomly thought of and threw together when i was first starting KXKODOD. and then the designs i get commissioned are Loosely (emphasis on loose) inspired by some east asian robes but are mostly inspired by natural elements like moon, stars, trees, etc. so when u make outfit designs for ur OC and/or the LIs literally Be Free ive seen it all when it comes to outfits

i like to think because the world is set in a post-apocalypse time, there isn't a long history of culture in the way we see it in our world and that's why the fashion is more scattered but that's honestly me making stuff up LZKSOOSNDLSOWKS sorry if this is not satisfying 🫡

Personally I love how the cast looks ethereal and mysterious and vaguely East Asian or nature inspired with a fantasy twist.

And then you have Fenir who looks like he looked through some old Ancient tome (someone’s business management textbook) and was like…yes. My aesthetic.

Scribbles. Listen, Lionne rolled high charisma but gets so flustered he just acts like a fool. Fenir just popped into the world with a nat 1 charisma roll, poor guy.

Piggybacking off other anon. Tragic endings!! Um. Does Fenir make us…not…breathe anymore? ._. And does he live to regret that or not considering (my god there’s no way to not say this spoiler-y) ? I can’t imagine what Fenir would feel, considering what we learn about him in his route ;w;

ur correct u (and everyone else in the vicinity when the tragic end takes place) die from him. i didnt want to get too explicit w it just bc the darkness of it is a bit too much for alaris's general tone but yeah u guys r donezos LOL

whether fenir lives for much longer than that can be up to ur individual headcanons. he could either roam the forest until he dies of old age (everyone is scared and stays away from that area) or die pretty shortly after the events of the tragic end (maybe central decides they have to kill him)

but fenir will never recover from the overtaken state--no one has the ability to heal him from that since mc is dead and well he's pretty deadly in a fully overtaken form. so he will regret it but it won't be like a fully cognizant regret since he's kinda in a more mindless state as an overtaken. he'll prob just register that he's in a lot of pain and doesn't fully know why. in a way, maybe it's a blessing since if he was fully cognizant and not overtaken, he might never recover from that emotional damage.

he doesn't have one rn in EA i didn't draw his LOLLLlzlslsla i was on my last limb of sanity i swear to god. he will have one in full release version tho!

also it makes me happy ppl actually use the energy feature. for a long time i thought it was pointless and i had to beg so many programmer friends to help me get it working how i wanted and i thought it was all for naught but.... it was all worth it to see u gamers using it.....

So the LI's reactions to meeting our family were said but what about vice versa? Which one of us are getting In-Laws/how would the LI's families react to meeting us?

✨Meeting the In-Laws

Kayn: only mom is in the picture. has a complicated relationship with mom. lots of love and resentment. would eventually take you to visit her maybe a year or so into the relationship. she's pretty harsh so prepare yourself. he'll understand if u don't wanna have a relationship w her.

Druk: both parents are in the picture. they're getting up there in age so druk would take you to meet them early in the relationship if ur up for it. it would mean a lot to him though! his parents r like him. dad makes too many jokes and mom is warm as summer.

Fenir: his parents are gone. fenir lives a relatively lonely life 💔 it's difficult for him to visit their graves. unsure when he would take u to them.

Etza: only their father is alive. he lives in another town though so etza doesn't see him often. they don't have a bad relationship with their dad, but it's not particularly close either. polite is the best way to describe it. etza was close to their mom though and would love to one day take you to her grave to "introduce" you.

Kuna'a: no parents. one died when they were young; the other died in the war. it doesn't make him sad though, he has had time to grieve. kuna'a would probably take you to visit their "graves" when you're many years into a relationship

Aisa: no parents either. lost one in the war and one after the war. took both deaths pretty badly. they can only take you to visit one of their graves. would do it pretty early in ur relationship

So I can't stop playing the Alaris Demo, nice to have obsessions again. Also I haven't drawn in years feels weird.

Lionne! Ended up being the first character I created for it. Ended up romancing the grouchy librarian with a dark past. A+. Gave you a respectful golden retriever of a man, hope you enjoyed, Fenir.

I really like that personality didn't seem to have a TON of say in if Lionne was sucessful or not. I started with high Kindness and some Charisma, and I was still able to play the game and character however I wanted. I played a slightly different personality but same character, played a whole different character, and while the personality got reacted to I suspect you can romance anyone with any personality.

Personally, I like that. Nothing more annoying that trying to play a game how you want and have to make sure the planets are aligned to get the right ending.

I gotta stop or I'll start yapping. Game is good. Can't wait for the fae routes.
