Celeste gave a small nod, “I know. It was your gift. I just saw pictures of him and Caitlin told me everything. I just wanted to make it a little less hard on you, that’s all. You deserve to have him back.” She watched Dante coming down to them and she took a deep breath. “A whitelighter. He orbs and he can heal people. Including himself. Technically he’s now considered Jo’s, Charlee’s, and my whitelighter like my uncle is my mom’s and my aunt’s whitelighter. Every witch has one. But he’s the same brother you had before, besides the whitelighter part.” She explained to him and finally took a breath. Cisco’s hug relaxed her, she rested into him and hid her face against his hair for moment. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make it worse.”

He listened to her and didn’t even know what to think. He had gotten over his brother a while ago, sure it still hurt and he would do anything to get him back, but he didn’t think it would be like this. He let out a sigh when she finally rested into him. “You didn’t....it’s just a lot,” he sighed as he pulled back to look at her and giving her a small smile.

Celeste let out a laugh with a shake of her head but she stopped after opening the door and watching him look at his brother. She took a deep breath when his eyes were back on her. “I know how much you missed him. And I saw that it hurt you.” The brunette began to explain, “I don’t like to see you hurt, and you’ve done so much for the city. That when I asked for this favor I pointed that out to them, and um…he’s more like a guardian angel. It’s hard to really explain, but he’s like my uncle. A whitelighter.” A pause filled the room a moment as she kept her eyes on him. “I…I just wanted to make you happy.”

“I didn’t know you were gonna do that. I am happy, I am. Really. It’s just...a lot,” he sighed as he stood there for a moment staring at his brother. It was the one thing in life that he regretted more than anything. He hated that he couldn’t save him and it caused so much pain with Barry. “He’s a what?” he asked tilting his head. Seeing her face, he shut his eyes before wrapping his arms around her in a hug.

As she stopped at a door she laughed lightly, “I’m not going to kill you, hopefully. The surprise might shock you a lot, but definitely not kill you. You’re going to be happy, I hope.” She took a deep breath at his question, “I kind of used up a favor from a magical friend of mine, but it was very much worth it. So never die on me or I’ll be in deep.” Celeste turned to the door, opening it and going inside where Cisco’s brother was waiting for them.

Cisco caught up with her and chuckled shaking his head a little. “Hopefully?! That’s reassuring,” he joked rounding the corner. When they stopped at a door, he tilted his head before looking at Celeste. “What?” When she opened the door, he looked inside and saw Dante standing there. “Dante?” he asked before turning back to Celeste confused.

Her eyes were on him, loving how he looked in his tux. It almost made her forget about the gift she had for him. She really needed to show him. “Thank you, you look really handsome. Very.” She stopped, “We could soon. But before that, I want to show you something.” Celeste took his hand and started walking with him. “Don’t freak out, okay?”

He could feel himself blush when she called him handsome. He gave her a look when she pulled him in the opposite direction. “What...where are you taking me? I swear if you’re going to kill me...” he started before letting out a laugh. “What do you mean don’t freak out?”

Celeste had gotten a text earlier that day while she was studying the book of shadows, she’d always done that once a week to keep it fresh in her mind on the in case it were necessary. It was from Cisco. Every time she heard from him her face would light up. She ran past her sister to get dressed. It took her hours to decide on a dress. When she got to the lab she felt her heart racing and her hands shaking but she was excited. She looked at Cisco when she walked in and a smile instantly appeared on her face. “No, not at all. I think it’s all amazing.” Celeste took the rose and looked at it, “Thank you.”

Cisco couldn’t help but smile at her and took in how she looked. “You’re welcome,” he said handing over the rose. “Well you look beautiful.” Cisco took hold of her hand and walked over towards the table, pulling out the chair for her. “Figured we could use some alone time.”

Cisco let out a sigh as he put the finishing touches on the table he had set up in the speed lab. It was na odd place to be, but hey it was quiet and he knew they wouldn’t be interrupted. Glancing up, he smiled when he saw Celeste walk in. Standing up with the single rose in his hand, he buttoned the jacket of his suit and walked over to her. “Too much?” he asked with a small chuckle as he handed her the flower that was in his hand.

Him saying he liked her too, made her smile that much more. Causing her to nod, “I’m really glad that you do.” It took her a second to look up again but when she did she felt him pull away from her. “What’s wrong?” She looked at his hand then her own. Confused about what just happened. Did he change his mind all the sudden? Guys confused her. “I…I’m gonna get a drink.” Celeste told him, walking away so she didn’t make him more uncomfortable than he clearly already was.

Cisco looked at her shocked for a moment. Did he really just see that? He tried to find his words, but it was so hard. It wasn’t until she was walking away that he did something. Following after her, he took her hand and pulled her close to him. Leaning down he kissed her before pulling away hoping she would get the hint on how he felt. “My powers are more than just transporting people to other places. I can see things...” he finally said.

Celeste smiled when he did, only catching a quick glimpse of him before she looked back at her hands. Taking a deep breath. When he spoke she looked at him and gave a small nod, “I know. Um, I really do…like you. I just couldn’t tell you.” She looked down at his hand, taking it in hers so she could be a little closer to him.

At her words, his smile only brightened. He knew she liked him, but didn’t think she would ever say anything to him and he was just to afraid to say anything to her. “Well I really like you too,” he smiled as he took her hand. The minute she touched it, he got a vibe. Seeing a flash of their future together, he frantically pulled away and stood there for a moment in disbelief and maybe some fear. “I..uh... that... not what I wanted to happen...” he said trying to put something together that made sense even though he was pretty sure he didn’t.

Celeste shook her head at Jo and Addison, not only them but her brother who looked at her from the window as they were leaving. With eyes narrowed she used her telekinesis to knock Mason in the snow because he was laughing at her. She smirked at him when he realized it was her. Siblings. Her attention turned back to Cisco when he stood next to her. “Yeah, I guess they did.” Celeste laughed, her eyes moving to his.

Looking at her, he smiled before his eyes dropped a little. He didn’t know what to do or say and he was thankful that she seemed to have the same problem. “I mean we’ve been dancing around the whole...us thing for a while now,” he chuckled as he finally looked up at her again.

When she looked at Cisco again, she nodded with a smile. “Of course. I would think a lot of people would. I mean you have the best clothes in my opinion. But I tend to enjoy a good graphic tee, myself.” Celeste smiled more, crossing her arms and looking over when everyone said they were going out to wood for the fireplace. Her eyes narrowed while they all walked out. Now they were alone, all alone. Celeste became even more nervous than before.

Watching everyone leave, Cisco sighed to himself. Of course this was some sort of set up. Glancing at Celeste, he walked over to her and smiled as he stood next to her. “Looks like they did this on purpose,” he joked giving her a small smirk as he looked at her.

She nodded a little and smiled at him, “You’re welcome. I love all your shirts, I think they’re all funny. I especially the space shirts you have, space is cool.” She moved her hands behind her back then looked at PJ when she came over to her, telling her to get ready for the cold. Celeste zipped up her faux fur coat, pulling her hood up and fixing her backpack. As soon as everyone else walked through she thought about taking his hand but she was so nervous. “Okay.” She walked through, looking around the cabin. Packed with basically everything. “Wow.” Nora already had a fire going in the huge fireplace and they were all talking to each other. She gave a look at them in a huddle before she moved to the couch.

Cisco couldn’t help but smile at her compliment. It was just too cute and she was so perfect. Literally perfect for him. “I’m glad someone likes them,” he smirked as he opened the breach and gave everyone else looks as they walked through the breach. Finally he stepped through the breach and smiled as he looked around. Maybe this trip wasn’t going to be so bad after all. “This is insane,” he said as he stood next to Celeste and looked around.

In her head, she was going back and forth with herself. ‘You can do this’, ‘he likes you, just be positive’. Those type of things. When she got close to the room and saw Cisco standing there, she almost backed out. The butterflies in her stomach going crazier than usual. But the other girls turned her around and forced her to face her fear of rejection. Iris smiled at Barry, Addison had walked over to Ralph. Her brother was kissing Caitlin’s head. Even her little sister had someone. Her eyes were staring at the floor for a moment before she looked up at Cisco. “I really like your shirt.” The brunette tried to strike up a conversation but knew they were both a little awkward as it was. Celeste was never awkward with anyone, but Cisco was different. He made her feel…bliss. That’s all she could feel when they were together.

Cisco sighed as he walked out from behind the desk and saw Celeste standing there. “Oh uh..thanks,” he chuckled as he looked at her for a moment. Cisco wasn’t usually one to get tongue tied, but with her it was insane. He couldn’t speak and his mouth dried up every time he tried to talk. “Um, let’s go shall we,” he said looking at everyone in the room and opening a breach. Everyone went through and he looked back at Celeste. “Go ahead,” he smiled as he followed behind her.

Celeste heard the words ‘couples trip’ and thought she’d be staying behind because her and Cisco had known each other a few weeks and still hadn’t been on a date. Not that she was being that much of an open book when she saw the guy, she tried to be but he gave her butterflies and made her heart race. She would just watch him talk about science and the excitement he got out of it made her smile. She could listen to him ramble about it all day long. The diary in her purse was filled with the way he made her feel, about how cute he was. Sometimes she wrote down what he wrote on the board.

Her eyes moved to Iris when she snapped her out of her thoughts, “Come on. It’ll be amazing.” The woman whispered to her with a smile. “Just…talk to him. We all know you like him except him. Just tell him how you feel, it’ll go great.” Her best friend Addison nodded in agreement with her, as did Caitlin. Celeste took a deep breath and nodded. “Okay.”

“Why do I always have to be the transportation? You are literally the fastest man alive and can run everyone there. Also why am I going? I am not a couple,” Cisco sighed as he fiddled with the breaching device. His powers were still a little messed up from Cicada and the small device came in handy. “Because you and Celeste need to buck up already.” Stumbling, Cisco looked at Barry and stammered. “We...there’s...we’re just friends,” he said as he hooked his backpack over his shoulder. Barry and Ralph gave him a look before letting out a sigh. “Alright, fine I’ll go to your little outing. Go get the girls so we can go or we aren’t gonna get there till like midnight.”

When they got through the breach, Cisco’s hand in her’s, she sat him down on the couch in her attic and looked at him while she sat on the table in front of him. “Are you sure you’re okay?” Her free hand touching his head, somehow it glowed and she watched his head healing more than before. That had never happened before. She could never heal anyone before, it was never a power she had. Her eyes moved to his and she felt his friends staring at her.

She noticed she was still holding his hand even after the breach closed, apparently everyone else did too. Because when she looked at them there were grins on their faces. She cleared her throat and let go. “Like I said. I can give a tour. This is obviously the attic. It has amazing stuff in it, like this…” Celeste got up, going over to the Book of Shadows. “It has spells, information on things witches need. Not metas but other things. It’s called Book of Shadows, because of what’s in it information wise mostly. And most spells. But no spells are evil.”

Looking up at her he nodded, “Yeah, I’m fine,” he muttered as he felt every single muscle in his body. That hit really took a lot out of him. “Just... that hit took a lot out of me.” He looked around the place before turning to everyone else. He was surprised that magic wasn’t that off putting seeing as they have seen worse.

“Now that’s awesome,” Cisco said and Ralph nodded along. “I’m all for you giving us a tour. This place gives off that old scary movie vibe and I like it,” he laughed as he laid down on the couch when his head started to hurt again. “No, you need rest!” Caitlin gave him a look and he made a face at her. Celeste was too pretty to just leave for Ralph to snatch up.

When she was messing with her sweater’s sleeve and heard Iris ask the question she always got from people. “Aren’t witches bad?” Celeste looked up at her while she took a deep breath, “That’s a stereo type made up by someone a long time ago. You’re only bad if you practice dark magic. I don’t. My family doesn’t. We save people, we’ve even been known to save people who don’t necessarily deserve saving. It’s what we do.” She looked at all of them, then Cisco when she heard him defending her. “You definitely deserved it.” Celeste gave a small smile.

“I can understand being skeptical, my aunts were when they became witches themselves. But if you really need proof…” She looked at Cisco and took his hand, channeling his powers. Lifting her hand up, a breach opened and she looked at them. “Follow me.” She walked through and right into her attic. Or rather the Halliwell Manor’s attic. Ralph looked at Cisco then followed through. “My mom and aunts aren’t home so I can give you the tour.”

Cisco looked over at her again and smiled. “Really? We have seen more than this and you guys are getting weird over witches? We’re seen worse,” he chuckled before putting a hand to his head. “You need to go lay back down!” Cisco looked at Caitlin when she said that and rolled his eyes. “I’m fine.”

He was confused for a moment when Celeste walked over to him. Taking her hand, he made a face before his eyes went wide when she opened a breach and they were at some house. “Woah...” he said looking around.

Her eyes moved to Cisco laying down and was going to go see about him but knew he needed to rest after the fight that went on, she took a deep breath while she felt some sort of feeling growing inside of her while she kept her eyes on him from the hallway. Standing in the doorway enough to see him. Celeste was just glad he was okay, that her premonition was wrong. Or maybe she changed it? Either way, she couldn’t handle what would’ve happened if she hadn’t. Which was strange being that she was just getting know this guy. He already meant so much to her, and she didn’t know why.

“What?” The brunette asked, looking back at Iris but remembering what she said. “Oh, uh. They watch over witches, heal them when they get wounded in battle with…other things.” She nodded a little at her own, some what, explanation. Caitlin walked over to the computer to type in the name she’d given before they’d left and looked over at her, “Halliwell. That last name sounds…”

“Familiar? It’s because of my mom and my aunts. Kind of a recurring name in the media. People thought they died because our house exploded once, magically came back together.” The look on their faces were mixed, Caitlin looked excited while Iris looked completely confused. “Witches?” Celeste raised her eyebrow with an amused grin on her face at Iris’ question. “There’s metas who control weather, or run faster than a speeding bullet, Cisco can open breaches. Caitlin can change into a whole other person. But witches aren’t believable?” Ralph said she had a good point while he stood with his arms crossed, only making her laugh all over again. “If you really want to know what I can do, just ask. I do have to go to work though.”

Cisco laid there after that and sighed letting his eyes shut for a moment. He could still hear everything that was happening in the hallways and was still even more confused. Witches? That’s a thing. The girl he was head over heels for was a witch? Well he’s had worse. Plucking up the energy, Cisco sat up in bed and got up. He felt relatively fine, but was still a little out of it.

Staggering to the door, he leaned against the frame. “I have to agree with Ralph on this one...” he said before looking at Caitlin who was definitely giving him a mom look. “Besides, she saved my life,” he said before looking at her catching her eye.

Celeste smiled when he opened his eyes, her tears falling down her face but a sigh of relief could be heard as well. She moved closer to him and laid his head on her thighs. “Hey.” She smiled more, touching his face softly. “Nope. Not dead. Thanks to him.” Giving a nod towards her uncle, she followed it up with another thank you. But it didn’t seem like enough to tell him how thankful she truly was for him to be there and save Cisco. When she saw he was in pain, she moved him back down easily. “We should get you to the lab, let Caitlin see if you’re really okay.” Her concern seemed to get looks from his friends because she barely knew him, she cleared her throat and had her brother help her get him up.

Her hand was on the back of his head for a second before she got out the nifty little device to open breaches. “Come on.” Celeste helped him through with Mason’s help and she sat him down on the bed as much as she could. “I’ll take it from here.” Caitlin touched her shoulder and she moved back to the doorway. Iris walked her to the hall so they could talk and asked her what happened. “Cisco got hurt.” She stated the obvious, trying to avoid the subject of her uncle but it came up. “He…healed him. He’s whitelighter, it’s what they do.”

Cisco laughed or tried to when Celeste confirmed that he wasn’t dead. “Good, I don’t need that,” he laugh shaking his head a little as he tried to sit up. “Yeah...yeah that’s a good idea,” he groaned before looking around at the people that came to help out. There was a lot of questions he was going to need to ask once he was stronger.

Holding onto Celeste, Cisco winced in pain as he stood up. When Caitlin came to them, he held onto her and made his way to the med bay where he laid down on one of the beds. “I feel like I got hit by a truck,” he sighed as his eyes shut. “You pretty much did so now close your eyes and try to sleep.”

Outside, Cisco could hear everything and made a face. What is she talking about? Thankfully Iris had his back in that question. “A what? What is a whitelighter?”
