I mean, I think it’s the more plausible turn of events, tbqh. haha. (and omg, Veronica would NEVER LET HIM KNOW. And if he does know, probably has already strangled whoever piped up. Haha. Because she knows that she’ll never live it down and that’s obnoxious.)

ommmgg. I mean. That’s 1000% probably what happened. Veronica is used to men trying to pick her up/use dumb lines on her, and she’s got a whole arsenal of shut-down responses. But he was so goddamn persistent and eventually started like ~surprising her with how resourceful and resilient he was.

Probably eventually was like: “omg, okay. We’re done with this. I’m going to be having dinner at this restaurant at this time. If you feel like eating at the same time at the same place, great. It’s not a date. Don’t treat it like a date. If you do, I know how to break every bone in your body. Got it?” And just like ~smoothly walked away. Haha.

And yeah, Veronica is probs the same way, tbqh. The whole ~never get attached motto that she and her brother live by and whatnot. Not really conducive to relationships. Which, on a side note, means that Veronica probably NEVER TOLD CHARLES ABOUT HER AND FRANCO KINDA SORTA BEING ~TOGETHER. Whoops. haha.

But I could totally see both of them getting freaked out by how they were together too long. Do you think that Franco’s the type who would have bickered with Veronica because the tension about “WOAH, WHY ARE YOU OVER HERE ALL THE TIME, WHY IS THERE A TOOTHBRUSH HERE, THIS CAN’T BE SERIOUS, I’M NOT SERIOUS ABOUT YOU, WHY WOULD YOU THINK I’D BE SERIOUS ABOUT YOU?!”

Because Veronica is totally the kind of person who’d be like: “….I’m done. You’re lovely. But I’m done. This is too much. If you’re interested, I’ll let you know when I’m in town, and we can arrange a ~meeting ifyoucatchmydrift, but this…whatever is done for the time being.”

I'm trying to figure out if he does know??? I think maybe he does -- like he would have gone and dug up info on her after he found out that she was an assassin and may have even figured out that he was once her target and like talks about it a lot and probably gets punched, haha. (i do think this was probably after they broke up or whatever)

HAHAHA but omg that is legit how it happened okay. And I CAN JUST IMAGINE FRANCO'S SMILE AFTER SHE SAID THAT. LIKE HE'D BE GRINNING SO MUCH HE PROBABLY WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO SAY ANYTHING. Like one of his greatest accomplishments ever was Veronica kinda asking him on a date. ;D

(OMG ABOUT CHARLES NOT KNOWING!!! Especially since Charles is w/ the Morettis now and I can see Franco asking him all these questions about Veronica -- things that Charles probs won't answer b/c the Martin's private life is not up for discussion. Also sobbing when he finds out that she's working with the Connoghans now) 

Ohhhh yyeahhh, He totally would. Like he'd freak out when he sees they are getting serious and ofc it is 1000% Veronica's fault and he'd be all WHY ARE YOU SMOTHERING ME?!?!?! And has 0 idea of what he's supposed to do with ~feelings and when she said that he'd be like GOOD. (but internally all ... but no). 

Anyway, so where should we start them??? Do you think that Veronica might ~possibly be in New York, since all of her targets will probs be Morettis and is just chilling in town waiting for the call?

But yeah. I think that’s not necessarily a… bad thing for Elena, though? Like she needs people around that aren’t serious, because she’s become so serious now. Elena didn’t used to be this way, and like I said, the old fun-loving Elena can be coaxed out around/with certain people, but she will often fall into moods and anxiety-driven panics just as easily.

LOL at Franco giving Elena alcohol problems, tho. I mean, post-hospital time, Elena would have been ALL OVER THAT. Because like a month after being shot, she’d be released from the hospital, but she’d still be confined to the house for recovery and Elena probably was going INSAAANNEEE.

But ommggg. Elena would be dying and super face-palming all the time at Franco if he was saying weird things to the nurses and doctors. <333 But in the next breath she’d totally be challenging him to a race or a fight or whatever game he’d brought her to play that day. Sit up with him and eat cheese puffs and listen to his stories and jokes and pretend that everything’s going back to what it was like before for a while.

And I think she’d know he wouldn’t want to talk about the hard stuff with her. Or at least would figure it out early on. Hence why she talks with Alek instead about it. Because he pretend helps. xD At least doesn’t mind listening.

While Alek is TOTALLY ELENA’S FAVORITE, I’M SORRY, IT’S TRUE. DD:

I think Franco is her next favorite uncle… Or, y’know, ties. Who knows. Probably more likely a tie between Franco and Alek. DON’T EVEN TELL ME ABOUT HOW THEY’RE HER ONLY UNCLES. WHATEVER, WHATEVER, I DO WHAT I WANT.

But I just think it’s more that Elena won’t talk as much about her ~problems when Uncle Franco is around. It’s that whole: He’s so upbeat and charming and witty, I can’t bring him down with my ~problems. D:

She’ll like having him around though, in a similar way that she likes having Mike around. Mike is calming and helps her wind down, Franco is distracting and helps her have fun again. :D Do you think he was one of the ones that hung out with her 24/7 during her recovery months? Because that would certainly make them pretty close. Especially during those months post-hospital when Elena couldn’t do much and it was SUPER FRUSTRATING for her.

Oh yeah, Franco is NOT the person to take your problems to tbh (haha well Alek isn't either but SHHHH, but Alek wants to help and like can at least feel like he's helping) Franco is like HAHAH no we are not talking about serious things. I run from them. He'd probs just try to get Elena has alcohol probs and is like here, kid, drink up. You won't even remember your problems in a second. ;DD

AND YES FRANCO WILL ALWAYS DISTRACT HER. Like he's all about having fun when he's not working (work hard, play harder) and OMGGG he would go to the hospital to visit her and like say weird things to the nurses and doctors just to get her to laugh and probs would tell her stories about what's up w/ his life and their are all entertaining and he'd probably bring her things like junk food and movies/video games and is just like HERE HAVE ALL THE THINGS. But also he wouldn't really wanna talk about her injury or the emotional problems he'd just be like HAHA OKAY NICE CHAT GTG NOW.

SO! We obvi should talk about these two as apparently they have ~history. I’m guessing we have two routes here:

1) Veronica and Franco were together for a bit while she was working a job for the Morettis.

2) Franco WAS the job for Veronica and may still be so as a sort of long con. Aka: Veronica decided she liked him and made a different call re killing him. Told her boss that he was more valuable alive for now. 

Either way, I’m pretty positive that Franco was the first one who actually managed to get Veronica to break her rule about never getting attached.

She liked that he really gave about zero shits about anything outside of the Family/the Business. He could keep up with Veronica on her best days, which only Charles had ever been able to do before. More than anything, she just admired him, tbqh.

Thoughts, though? Did you have any ideas about them/their history going in? I just kinda wanna lay the groundwork here before thinking too much about how the whole thing with Veronica working for the Connoghans now will affect them.

So I actually loooovve the idea that he was her target at some point, and she was able to convince the people that wanted him dead TO KEEP HIM ALIVE OMGG. (Also if Franco knew this, he would never let her live it down like WELL CLEARLY I AM SO AWESOME YOU COULDN'T BRING YOURSELF TO DO IT) 

I feel like Franco was first attracted to her b/c she was a serious challenge, b/c I feel like she def shot down his advances all the time and always had a witty response for his stupid pick up lines and he was like DAMMMNNNN. But he was also convinced that she must like him anyway, and was basically gonna prove it or die trying, haha. 

Anyway, I def feel like Franco has had like 29039248239084 one night stands,  but I do feel like he was with Veronica ~longer than most and like idk they probs were only together for a couple weeks, at the most, but I feel like they both were like WHOA TOO SERIOUS DOES SHE ACTUALLY HAVE A TOOTHBRUSH AT MY PLACE WHAT IS THIS LET'S END THIS NOW.

Okay, but let's see, Franco is like super proud of Tony tho??? Like he totally sees Sonny as the best of the best (b/c he reminds him of himself so obviously he is the most awesome) but still he acknowledges that Tony has done well and isn't afraid to get his hands dirty and *proud uncle tears* That being said, he doesn't understand Tony's social life (or lack thereof) and is like FOR GOD'S SAKE WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU WERE LAID OR HAD FUN?? (DO YOU EVEN KNOW THE MEANING OF THE WORD ???) And this troubles him greatly, tbh.

Oh yeah, he'd def be flirting w/ her. Like he can't control himself, especially since there is a pretty girl living in his house (I guess it's actually his bro's house, I do think Franco has his own place next door, but I think he spends like 90% of his time at his bros house vs his own b/c Franco doesn't like being alone, haha). And he wouldn't care if it made her uncomfortable (actually that'd probs egg him on b/c Franco is always SUCH A GOOD PERSON) ;D

Haha, omg, but that is def true, hahha. Especially since Franco is only a little over ten years older than Adam, which means he was in his early twenties when Adam first starting coming around and I think he was so eager to give his nephews a good time, even though they were like ten, and he probs would take Sonny & Adam to all kinds of places no ten year old should be and like Adam probs would facepalm about Franco's behavior when he was 10 and it has probs only gotten way worse over the last 14 years, hahaha. 

Franco, on the other hand, is probs still trying to drag Adam to bars and strip clubs and things especially b/c Sonny is engaged and is NO FUN ANYMORE.

Franco Moretti (45) roberty downey jr.  relationships: Alfonso Moretti (brother), Sonny Moretti, Tony Moretti, Mike Moretti (nephews), Elena Moretti (niece), Veronica Martin (ex-fling)

Franco is the first American born Moretti and, as such, he has a slightly less transitionist view on life. 

He is more than a decade younger than his older brother and was spoiled by his parents. 

He’s confident, to the point of being cocky. He’s loud, flirtatious, rush, and crude.

He’s everything his brother isn’t. 

Still, he and Alfonso get along. Alfonso tends to shake his head at his kid brother and ignore most of his vices. Although he does constantly drop not-so-subtle hints that Franco should start a family of his own. 

Franco will always laugh at that suggestion. 

He can handle responsibility, despite what you’d might think upon meeting him. 

He’s worked as his brother’s underboss for years. He was just keeping the seat warm for Sonny, but Alfonso kept putting off the official promotion of his eldest son. 

Now that Alfonso is ill, however, Sonny’s place has finally been given to him.

Franco doesn’t think his nephews — any of them — are ready, but he does respect his brother’s opinions and orders (even if he respects no one else’s) and will always do as Alfonso says. 

Still, that doesn’t keep Franco from thinking that he would be the best choice to lead the Moretti family, at least temporarily. He has experience that none of them can match.
