We saw Carrie in many disguises, but I don’t think we ever saw Quinn in one, did we? Is he just too cool for that?

Quinn wore many super cool disguises. But you may not have noticed since he was in disguise!

Mostly, Quinn wore hats as his disguise! And more than just two! (But not at the same time, of course.)

And look! A scarf! I barely recognized him with that disguise! ⬇︎

Is that a camouflage-colored hat? He blends right into the background with that on. ⬇︎

Fake German cop sunglasses! Super sexy disguise! ⬇︎

Hoodie! Carrie will never know it’s him when she shoots him in the back. ⬇︎

The beanie hat! A super good disguise and great for keeping his ears warm. ⬇︎

Does Quinn have the star on that CIA wall , after all ? Or we don’t know ?

I was GONNA say “obviously he does not have a star on the CIA wall, they only do stars for dead people,” but Sara got all salty with me.

That said, not sure. I like to think so? The wall is for CIA agents who died in the line of service, which… ultimately it’s like “define CIA,” because he certainly wasn’t active-duty when he died. But I don’t think he was NOT CIA either.

I’m gonna go ahead and say he probably has a star on the wall. It’d be dumb if he didn’t.

Does anyone recall how many times we have seen characters eating on Homeland? I recall seeing characters cooking, setting a table, sitting at a table with plates of food in front of them, walking into a restaurant or cafe, but not actually eating. Would not showing them eating have been a choice by the PTB?

Anonymous #2: Will Carrie eat this season? Will Yevgeny make her something?

Carrie? Eat? It’s more likely that Brody will rise from the dead.

To answer the first question:

Saul: Ate some peanut butter crackers.

Virgil: Expired yogurt, a pretzel, spaghetti amatriciana.

Quinn: I think he ate an apple once.

Lockhart: Brought a lasagna.

Carrie: Stuck her hand into a bag of pretzels but never ACTUALLY ATE ANY. Microwaved a frozen meal in Islamabad but again NEVER ACTUALLY ATE IT. I really do not think we’ve ever seen Carrie swallow anything that wasn’t a pill.

I think that characters physically eating introduces a lot of continuity issues. If the character takes a bite of something and you reset, you have to (or you’d want to) make sure they continued eating in all the other takes and also keep refilling their plate, etc. So I can understand why they don’t do it but it’s frankly bizarre that in eight seasons of this show they’ve never shown Carrie eating. We’ve seen her wipe her underarms multiple times!

Lizzy, thanks for your recent fashion posts. One of those photos had Rupert wearing sunglasses, which brings me to my next request. Could you present us with a set of Rupert in shades. He must have a big collection because he’s always in different frames. Lots to choose from in the archives, but please include the Dennis Nylon poster, and the blue-tinted framed from the Mandy walk of fame ceremony. You may choose from photo shoots too. (There may have been a set done on this theme already.)

Man, I LOVE these fashion requests! Keep them coming :) RF looks damn good in shades of all shapes and sizes, although he seems partial to an aviator.
