Frankie is probably one of the most genuinely decent people at Bullworth Academy, which unfortunately means she is also one of the most underappreciated. She has this habit of seeing the best in everyone, even when they have provided absolutely no evidence that they deserve it. Most people hear about that sort of thing in inspirational speeches and assume it doesn't exist in reality. Frankie somehow manages to do it every day.
The fact that some students call her strange because she gets nervous, references books, talks about science, or occasionally says awkward things only demonstrates how narrow-minded they are. I'd much rather spend an afternoon speaking with someone who is enthusiastic about literature and astronomy than listening to another tedious discussion about football scores.
And before anyone asks, no, this is not an attempt to impress her. I simply dislike seeing good people taken for granted. I consider her a friend, though I know her feelings on me are likely more conflicted.
Might be a controversial opinion:
Dungeons and Dragons is better than Gremlins and Goblins.
