Some sleepy honu interrupted my nighttime shenanigans. I obviously wasn't mad about it.

Last year, I wrote this whole thing about rainbows, and how I could feel that change was coming. Change DID come, in a big bad (good) way. This year, I awoke to this glorious spectacle right outside my window on my birthday. I am so lucky to be surrounded by all this love, and I hope I'm sending it right back. Thank you for being a part of my life, and letting me a part of yours. It's gonna be a great year, y'all, I can feel it. 🌈🌊🌺 (at Hilo Bay)

Before you all get TOO annoyed with me for typical sunset photos, 90% of my day is shuffling these damn things around the island. (at Waimea, Hawaii County, Hawaii)
And in the craziness that is this universe...I had volunteered to do an early morning pickup at the airport this morning, and she wasn't there. Right as I was about to leave, I get a text from my friend Michael Sperber, saying he and his wife had just landed in Kona. I knew they were coming to the Island, but I had totally lost track of the days. So not only did I get to unexpectedly say hi to them, but the girl I was supposed to pick up had been transferred to that flight, and asked Michael to use his phone to get ahold of me. So freaking bizarre, and lucky!! Have so much fun, you two!! SO happy I got to see you (and meet you, in the case of Melissa)! (at Kona International Airport)

Post-paddle moment...a GREAT morning on the ocean, where a manta popped up to wave hello, completed with breakfast with island 'ohana. So far, this summer is bliss 🐚🌴🌸 (at Kawaihae, Hawaii)
