Meeting 10/13/2012

Hello everyone!

Our next meeting will be this Saturday, October 13th, at NCSSM in the Robotics Labs starting at 1:00pm and going until 5:00pm.

This meeting will cover a bunch of different topics including programming the robot, the design process with CAD, and basic tool use.

If you own a laptop that runs Windows then please bring it out so we can help get the CAD software running or the programming software running on your laptop.  If you don't own a laptop, don't worry.  We'll be working in groups for this meeting and we will pair you up with someone who does. 

One last thing.  And this is super important and this won't be the last time you'll hear or read about it.  Most of you will not be familiar with the STIMs process for FIRST.  STIMs is the system FIRST teams use to register students as members of the team.  We need to start getting students registered in the STIMs system.  To do this, you'll need to register an account and if you're under 18 then your parents will also need to register an account to approve the legal forms for FIRST.  Here is the link for STIMS (and just as a reminder: you're joining FRC Team 900, The Zebracorns): https://my.usfirst.org/stims/site.lasso

MEETING

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in FIRST Robotics Team 900 - The Zebracorns!

We will be hosting an interest meeting at the North Carolina School of Science and Math (1912 West Club Boulevard, Durham) on Wednesday, Sept. 12th.  The meeting will start at 5:30 PM, and it is not necessary to stay for the entire event.  The meeting is open to all high school students and parents.  Please come to the Bryan Lobby/Visitor's Center and you will be directed from there.

If you are interested please attend!  If you cannot make it, please email us ([email protected]) and we will be more than happy to fill you in.

YES! Team 900 is going to be having a meeting on September 12. It will be at 5:30 in hunt classroom. Get excited and be there. This will only be a introductory meeting but it will be very informative. All humans and robots welcome.
