DON’T SCROLL PAST THIS

for the last 2+ weeks, the Amazon has been catching fire. Yes, it’s the season where that’s normal but because of the sayings (aka incentive) of our new president, some farmers are taking advantage of that and intentionally setting the trees on fire. Yesterday, because of this, the sky of São Paulo looked like this. AT THREE IN THE AFTERNOON.

Hospitals of the northern states are filling up with people (especially children and seniors) claiming they can’t breathe properly. ALREADY ENDANGERED ANIMALS ARE DYING. THIS IS SERIOUS.

Germany and Norway, huge donators to the Amazon cause will stop sending money because they don’t see results (that can also be credited to our president, who has been tweeting angrily ever since - not because he cares about the environment, btw). That money gives this guy and his team equipment to save little guys like these:

THIS AFFECTS EVERYONE, NOT JUST BRAZILIANS. The Amazon is the largest rainforest in the world, and it’s being destroyed. WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING.

If your country is holding elections, vote for someone who cares about this. Don’t let another Bolsonaro or another Trump have the power to do something and then do nothing. This is going to shape our future — if we have one.

I don't get how I only now get to know about?! I'm so enraged! I mean, what the heck are our governments doing?! Why does my government decide to stop sending money NOW?! Why do people take advantage of this?! Don't they get that we are dying as well?! Do they want us to die?! What the heck is going on? Why is so much wrong and so little done?! I don't need electrical cats of the forests are gone! I need proper education in ALL countries! I need proper live resources in ALL countries! I DO NOT CARE if economy doesn't work that way. If people are to ignorant to help each other, to ignorant to save our nature, animals, ecosystem, then we are all doomed!

I can live without economy BUT NOT without our ecosystem!

I live in a country at the top of economy and I see us doing a lot BUT I also see us stopping giving support whenever something is bad. WHY DO WE STOP SUPPORTING WHERE IT IS NEEDED?!? If our state doesn't have enough money to support the poor, the fleeing, the nature but HAS money to build up our army and trope out at sports events each year what do we try to achieve here???

Why don't we act where it's needed?

Why do I always see withdraw?

Why do politics always take this long?

Yes the political system is full of godliness and traps but DAMN IT! WHERE DOES THAT GET UP IF WE LET OUR PLANET WILLINGLY DIE JUST BECAUSE WE MIGHT GET INTO MONEY TROUBLE?!

DO YOU PREFER A DEPT FREE COMMUNITY OVER A LIVING FUTURE?!?

WE ARE ALREADY IN DEPT! EVERY ONE IS! WHY BEING AFRAID OF DIGGING DEEPER INTO IT IN EXCHANGE FOR A FUTURE?!?

I'm no political advanced person but god will, of I have to choose being in dept over life I KNOW WHAT TO CHOOSE.

I don't even know how much it would cost us to finally get our but up but ISN'T MONEY ALWAYS THE EXCUSE?!

Excuse me if I got anything wrong here. I'm just a normal citizen who is enraged over what he sees. How we thread our planet.

I feel helpless watching the world go down and the media using fear to their advance.

I feel paralysed seeing our future.

And the system I grew up in makes me feel to little to change anything.

I can't pray since I lost my belive.

Please, people out there, if you can, work together and SAVE US!

SAVE OUR PLANET AS LONG AS WE STILL HAVE ONE!
