"Ah, hello, everyone!" *Genesis' overly cheerful voice rings out,* "Welcome to the circus! I do hope everyone enjoys their stay!"
*His joyful voice is a stark contrast to the bleak atmosphere. It seems the buildings used to be painted in vivid colors, but they've faded over the years... There's old, dried bloodstains on the walls and floors.*
[Rainbow is sent to the circus, still completely out, silently weeping...His large form heaves up and down with his shallow breath.]
*He gets found by a familiar desert steve who unfortunately doesn't recognize him..*
"What the...?"
*He grabs him and starts dragging him somewhere. He may not recognize this guy, but he'd feel bad leaving someone who's unconscious alone..*
[All that's particularly notable at this moment is his oddly bug-like appendages, including a tail, and leafy hair...he seems to have quite a strong stature...He's a little heavy to lift up fully, dragging helping balance out the weight a bit.]
*He drags him into a break room and lifts him onto the couch, sighing.*
*He awkwardly paces, waiting for him to wake up. Usually he'd just leave, but.. the strange bug man feels oddly familiar..*
[It doesn't take a long time for him to wake up suddenly, the soft-yet-hoarse voice almost immediately bringing memories back...]
GAH-!
[He huffs, as he tries to steady his breath, blinking tears and cyan afterimages away...]
*He jumps, startled.*
*He stares at him for a long moment, before realizing something.*
"R-Rainbow...?!"
[He blinks, as his ears perk up. His eyes widen.]
Desert...?!
Desert!!! :D
*He immediately goes over and hugs him.*
[He purrs loudly, hugging him back. His arms are quite sturdy, so vastly different from his former body...]
I missed you!!
"I missed you, too.." *Realizing he can do this without hurting Rainbow, he hugs him really tightly.*
[His tail wags intensely as he laughs.]
"Why are you tall now..?"
I'm not too sure, really! Some guy with obsidian skin touched me, and then I started changing somehow??
"Ahh, that makes sense.."
[He shrugs before nuzzling him.]
I guess so!
*he nuzzles him back.*
[He smiles in delight.]
I'm so glad I can hug you for real now...!
"So am I :] "
*He pulls back slightly to smile at Rainbow. His smile is tired and a little crooked, but so much more genuine than how he usually smiles. He gently scritches behind Rainbow's ear.*
[He purrs, his leg gently thumping as his tail wags again.]
"You're really cute, y'know that?"
[He giggles as he snuggles beside him.]

*he nuzzles him again.* "Absolutely adorable :] "
[His little bug legs gently hold onto his waist as he leans against him in absolute bliss.]
"Mm.. I don’t know if I can pick you up, now, though :( " *he seems a bit sad about this.*

I think I can pick YOU up, though! :>
*He warmly laughs, smiling,* "Yeah, you probably could!"
[He giggles, before hugging him tightly.]

[He does, indeed, manage to pick him up. His large form jiggles softly as he laughs, before setting him back down.]
*Considering he's pretty tall, hes concerningly light...*

*They hear yelling outside..*
I've never felt this strong, heh-
[His laughter is cut short as the yelling becomes audible...]
"I'll.. be right back..."
*He stands up to go see what's going on.*
Oh...okay...
[He waits until he's out of the room before going to listen in...]
*He hears Desert and someone else yelling over each other, before he hears Desert very clearly say,*
"BITCH YOU TOUCH HIM AGAIN AND I'LL TEAR YOUR FUCKING THROAT OUT-"
*As he does, Seer ducks into the room, his face visibly bruised. He doesn't see Rainbow yet.*
[He jumps in surprise, pulling away from the door as he grabs at his tail to calm himself down. He doesn't say anything yet, not wanting to make Seer panic...]
*It takes Seer a moment to notice him, but he immediately looks more scared when he does.*
[The strange Steve Seer's looking at is noticeably tall and stout...they could easily injure him...But they immediately pull away, their big sheep-like ears pulling back as they look worried...]
I-its me, Seer- i-its me, Rainbow-!
*He shakes his head, stepping back. He doesn't seem to believe him.*
N-no, it- listen to my voice, i- I'm the-
[His voice cracks as he frowns, hiding in his small clothes and behind his hair, as he stares at the floor...his antennae flop down as he grabs at his arms.]
I-I know I don't look like- but I- I'm the same- pickaxe-thing....
[He trails off as he backs away...]
*He stares at him for a long moment, before ever so slightly relaxing. He still looks scared, but not directly afraid of Rainbow.*
"R-Rainy...?" *His voice sounds so weak and fragile...*
[He quietly nods, barely glancing at him.]
It-its really me, Seer...it....I can protect you now....i-i promise...
*he hesitates for long moment, before hugging him. He's shaking so hard..*
[He holds him so, so SO gently, as he softly nuzzles him...]
Whatever they did to you, I'll make sure it won't ever happen, okay...?
"Th-thank you.." *He relaxes a little more.*
Of course...
[He holds onto him protectively. After that...weird world, he's slightly more confident in his general ability to *mostly* not fuck up...]
*Seer buries his face against him, sighing.*
[....though his form is so unusual and new, it's..comforting. Warm. Safe....He curls up with him in his arms, softly purring. Even now, he still has the tiny ribbon, scarf, and tophat, that grew alongside himself.]
I-itll be okay, I'm s-sure of it...
*He slowly stops shaking, feeling safe with Rainbow.*
[He himself stops crying, too, starting to affectionately chitter instead.]
*Eventually, the yelling outside stops..*
[He looks up, but doesn't move, comfortable with Seer.]
*Desert comes back into the room, but doesn’t say anything. he walks over and presses his face against Rainbow's shoulder, sighing deeply.*
[He scratches under his chin, looking worried.]
*He's keeping his face hidden. ... for some reason, it feels.. faintly damp..*
Des'..? You alright..?
[He frowns more as he glances behind him, softly combing his hands through his hair.]
"yeah.. 'm fine..."
You don't seem fine....why're you hiding...?
*He sighs but lifts his head. There's liquidy clay dripping out of his nose.*
[He sighs.]

"It's fine, really.. it's just a little blood..."
[He makes grabby hands at him.]

*He stands up to go see what's going on.*

[He waits until he's out of the room before going to listen in...]
*He hears Desert and someone else yelling over each other, before he hears Desert very clearly say,*
"BITCH YOU TOUCH HIM AGAIN AND I'LL TEAR YOUR FUCKING THROAT OUT-"
*As he does, Seer ducks into the room, his face visibly bruised. He doesn't see Rainbow yet.*
[He jumps in surprise, pulling away from the door as he grabs at his tail to calm himself down. He doesn't say anything yet, not wanting to make Seer panic...]
*It takes Seer a moment to notice him, but he immediately looks more scared when he does.*
[The strange Steve Seer's looking at is noticeably tall and stout...they could easily injure him...But they immediately pull away, their big sheep-like ears pulling back as they look worried...]
I-its me, Seer- i-its me, Rainbow-!
*He shakes his head, stepping back. He doesn't seem to believe him.*
N-no, it- listen to my voice, i- I'm the-
[His voice cracks as he frowns, hiding in his small clothes and behind his hair, as he stares at the floor...his antennae flop down as he grabs at his arms.]
I-I know I don't look like- but I- I'm the same- pickaxe-thing....
[He trails off as he backs away...]
*He stares at him for a long moment, before ever so slightly relaxing. He still looks scared, but not directly afraid of Rainbow.*
"R-Rainy...?" *His voice sounds so weak and fragile...*
[He quietly nods, barely glancing at him.]
It-its really me, Seer...it....I can protect you now....i-i promise...
*he hesitates for long moment, before hugging him. He's shaking so hard..*
[Rainbow is sent to the circus, still completely out, silently weeping...His large form heaves up and down with his shallow breath.]
*He gets found by a familiar desert steve who unfortunately doesn't recognize him..*
"What the...?"
*He grabs him and starts dragging him somewhere. He may not recognize this guy, but he'd feel bad leaving someone who's unconscious alone..*
[All that's particularly notable at this moment is his oddly bug-like appendages, including a tail, and leafy hair...he seems to have quite a strong stature...He's a little heavy to lift up fully, dragging helping balance out the weight a bit.]
*He drags him into a break room and lifts him onto the couch, sighing.*
*He awkwardly paces, waiting for him to wake up. Usually he'd just leave, but.. the strange bug man feels oddly familiar..*
[It doesn't take a long time for him to wake up suddenly, the soft-yet-hoarse voice almost immediately bringing memories back...]
GAH-!
[He huffs, as he tries to steady his breath, blinking tears and cyan afterimages away...]
*He jumps, startled.*
*He stares at him for a long moment, before realizing something.*
"R-Rainbow...?!"
[He blinks, as his ears perk up. His eyes widen.]
Desert...?!
Desert!!! :D
*He immediately goes over and hugs him.*
[He purrs loudly, hugging him back. His arms are quite sturdy, so vastly different from his former body...]
I missed you!!
"I missed you, too.." *Realizing he can do this without hurting Rainbow, he hugs him really tightly.*
[His tail wags intensely as he laughs.]
"Why are you tall now..?"
I'm not too sure, really! Some guy with obsidian skin touched me, and then I started changing somehow??
"Ahh, that makes sense.."
[He shrugs before nuzzling him.]
I guess so!
*he nuzzles him back.*
[He smiles in delight.]
I'm so glad I can hug you for real now...!

*He pulls back slightly to smile at Rainbow. His smile is tired and a little crooked, but so much more genuine than how he usually smiles. He gently scritches behind Rainbow's ear.*
[He purrs, his leg gently thumping as his tail wags again.]
"You're really cute, y'know that?"
[He giggles as he snuggles beside him.]
