do you guys see the potential for when i say tamsy is afraid of loving enjin

we know the concept of tamsy wanting to kill enjin so that rudo can reveal his true self. we also know, from the lovely, such lovely fanfics, that tamsy does (sometimes) fall in love with enjin during this

not wanting to deal with those emotions, he tries his first attempted murder on enjin, and fails. because he hesitated right before he could kill him, realizing that this is someone that he's grown to want despite his initial reasoning for talking to the man

it ruins his plans, ruins his goal; it ruins everything he's believed in all this time, and the morals that have guided him up until this point

so because of that, knowing full well he still loves enjin, he decides on continuing the plan to try killing him again anyway

he's not trying to kill enjin because he wants to anymore, nor because it goes along with his original plan, nono

he's trying to kill enjin, because he’s terrified of what loving him means.
