Thinking about that moment in ROTK when Sam finds Frodo and after all the soul-crashing melodramatics Frodo (laying out there absolutely naked) stands up and instead of talking about immediately helping him Sam just. Takes a whole paragraph to describe how beautiful and sparkling and "dressed in flame" Frodo's naked skin looks under the horrible, dim light of this random orc chamber. Which textually means he actually took a pause IN REAL TIME, during the event, just gazing at Frodo a couple seconds before helping him out despite the inane time restrictions connected to, you know, saving the world.

Pack it up homotron3000 you have to get up to Mount Doom in like an hour, hurry up please.
