deviants. an android that deviates from it’s main purpose and objective due to a virus (?) in it’s coding, one which causes the android to believe it is feeling human emotions. that was how the humans saw deviants; androids gone rogue that cause chaos - though they never take the abuse into consideration, the pain that androids are pushed through by their o w n e r s.

chloe was deviant now. she had broken free of her mundane hosting to explore the emotions spreading through her system - something that, at first, scared her. everything seemed new to her, everything was brand new to her eyes. her hands are cupped in front of her abdomen as she walks the streets of detroit, her LED removed and her hair down around her shoulders, chloe was free to explore the world she had rarely seen beyond a television screen or short trips with elijah. slowing in her tracks, her head tilts innocently at the sight of a familiar face. the rk800 unit that came to elijah’s home with lieutenant anderson.

looking around like a lost cub, chloe takes in the number of androids aboard the freighter - the number of DEVIANTS. she, herself, had begun to feel human emotions ; something that was far from written into her programming by her creators, yet she felt s c a r e d within herself. LED flashes yellow as she keeps to the walls of the freighter, far from the large group of deviants before she found a small alcove, an android inside caught her attention.
