I've been radio silent over here and have forgotten to reblog something from my Fang blog to here. I lost my mother back in February and I'm still trying to navigate life without her. It's been very hard and very challenging in a lot of ways now that I have so many more responsibilities on me. It's just my father and I left at the house now so that has been a rougher adjustment. No longer do I hear my mom or get texts from her. I can't text her from work like I used to and that was a hard habit to break.

In some ways it'll get a little easier but that's why I haven't been around. My drive to write kind of died while trying to get her help in the hospital before she passed on the 16th of February. It may not come back and that is ok.

I have to step up and live and be responsible and more of an adult than I've been in the past. I will get through this. I know I will, but I just remembered I didn't mention it over on this blog. I've been kind of on autopilot the last month. Really struggled for a while and have been continuing to struggle in some different ways. It'll get better. I have a good support network around me and some very amazing friends in and out of work too. I also still have my sister.

For now I just have to work on surviving and learning how to live with this big adjustment.

I've been on a bit of a hiatus due to work and focusing more on other hobbies in life a bit more as well. So I have been quiet here and on my other blog. I don't know when I will be back around but I felt it only fair to post up a little something so people don't worry on where I vanished to without a word of some sort.

hey y'all im sorry to do this but i woke up today and my cat was straining to use the restroom. he is a male cat, and it seems he has a blockage, so i need to take him to the emergency vet. unfortunately, the emergency vet said the visit could be over a thousand dollars, and we have barely any money without a single scrap of credit.

so im opening like. emergency commissions, i can get into the details of it, but if anyone has like. anything that can help my paypal is [email protected], i can make graphics and do gposes and all sorts of stuff as a return but like. my baby could be in very severe danger so. ahah.

there is just something about the way vi looked sitting in that chair in emily's moderately sized bathroom. the woman looked so much softer , but not in the way that displayed innocence , in a way that made it look like vi might feel safe or sound. a far different look than the vi that walks around the streets with emily. and emily supposes ... she probably looks the same. especially with how emily can balance looking in touch and aware while in the middle of royal duties. but in reality ... emily is so out of touch and bored. at least most of the time.

emily slides into vi. the kiss merely goes unanswered for a few seconds because emily is concentrating on the kiss , of course. the empress makes herself at home between vi's legs , nose rubbing against vi's before emily tilts her head back , lips pressing against vi's forehead once again. then she just rests her cheek on the other woman's head. brown eyes close.

" do you think you missed something? " emily simply counters , arms wrapping around vi's shoulders.

Feeling her shift to settle with her in the chair, Vi relaxed, feeling her so close to her. Her body actively relaxed more at the tenderness exchanged between them. Only Emily could bring a tenderness out of her, and one that she enjoyed basking the Empress in whenever she could. The love she held for her was pure and strong, much like Vi's heart in many regards.

The soft forehead kiss was enough to cause Vi to close her blue eyes for a moment to soak in the time with her. It had been a while since they could be at ease with one another. Feeling Emily rest against her, she chuckled a little.

"I was confused from the sudden kiss to the scar, my dear. Not often a knife scar gets that attention," she smirked, only to move an arm to coil around her to keep her nearer. Vi was comfortable then and purely at home with Emily.

It wasn't often Vi was caught off guard out of what felt like the blue, but it seemed that moment in time she was. Cleaning up from dinner, she was surprised by the tender moment of a kiss against the scar upon her brow by Emily. The pugilist stopped in her movements only to look at the Empress with a shocked expression until it dawned on her why it had been done, more than likely. Her heart began to hammer a bit harder in her chest, and soon Vi found the ability to breathe again. A soft smile curled onto her lips before she moved a hand to tug Emily to her.

"Did I miss something?" she asked gently, only to lean to kiss her companion tenderly upon her lips for a moment.

At this point, I am just desperately trying to keep my head above water (paying some of the lab bills this month has left me with $15 in my account, and I won't even SEE the bill for the hysterectomy until probably April, so who knows what that will be!)

surgery for the stupid grade 3 cervical lesion thing on tuesday (that might be Bonus Cancer!) and the hospital has just informed me that i'll get a bill for like $500 for the copay afterward, while the original hysto is now bumped until at least April, and was already estimated at something like $1300.

love this for me tbh.

i deeply appreciate everyone who has already donated, and have made a significant dent in the currently open bills!

but there's no way i'm going to be out of the woods for any of this any time soon at this rate.

I got the job. Things are changing, but I think in a good direction for me. It's full-time Monday through Friday and two Saturdays a month. I can get benefits again in time, and get money stashed away in time. Maybe I can get my feet under me more with this shift, and I think I will. It's a nice environment from what I saw in the interview, and the guy who was walking me about was really down to earth and made sure he was reachable with text with any other questions. I wasn't expecting a call that quick just a few hours after it was done, but I got it. So I have some stuff to do before I hopefully can start on Friday. With that in mind, I may have to still be on a hiatus to get into a groove where I can get a new routine nailed down for myself.

I wanted to take a moment to share a small update with ya'll. I know I haven't been as active lately. Work has me burnt out a great deal and due to some things that have happened extremely recently, I have decided to put in my two weeks' notice today. I'll try to work on drafts here and on my multi when I have a bit of time for it. I promise I'm not dropping things or forgetting things atm. I just have no drive atm with things going on outside of the blogs.

the blast surprises her, but she's glad for it. the trooper takes a few hits, and she bashes it with her shield a couple of times in between blasts. finally it's down, and without any other enemies lurking around, she's able to turn around and really look at fareeha. "i'm good," she says, going up to her friend with a look of worry.

it's hard to tell the damage with the armor fareeha has on, but brigitte still makes an attempt. "what hurts?" she asks her, putting a light hand on her shoulder. "and please don't say you're fine if you're not." she wants to tell her that she's worried for her, that she doesn't want her fighting hurt, but instead she goes for what she knows will work. "if you're hurt, you're just going to be in the way." it feels bad to say, but it's also the truth. people will be too worried about anyone hurt to really focus on what they need to do.

The captain kept her guard up while looking around despite the aches in her body from the blows she had sustained. She was able to push such things down enough to keep Brigitte protected from true harm. Pharah would never let such things happen if she could prevent them and she intended to keep that going for quite a bit despite how she felt. At her companion's words, she looked toward her.

"I'm not fine but I can carry on," she remarked feeling the hand on her shoulder. "I won't be in the damned way when it involves keeping you alive, Brigitte." She would gladly take more hits if it meant getting them both out of the situation alive.

"We can get through and get out to the others together. I'm not about to let you go on alone with my injuries. I can get through them."

Feeling the touch on her face, Fareeha stops looking over her gear to focus fully on Ashe. Softness emerges from the brown eyes for the outlaw. A tenderness only she can bring out of Fareeha is on display at that moment. Forgotten was the finishing touches to her suit as she looked on to her lady. "You all right?" she asked wondering what brought it on but she was not going to deny her partner a gentle moment.

A hand made box with custom slots for various tools that Sevika used to work on her arm, and a strap on the side that could be used for any random thing. In this particular case, that strap held a small bottle of alcohol. There was also one single I.O.U in the box. One day without snarky comments. She couldn't promise to do whatever Sevika said, but she could promise a lack of snark at least. "Happy Holidays, got bored and made a thing. Jinx." Bored she says, but that box had entirely too much detail and was obviously customized specifically for Sevika. Maybe it had started off as a "I'm bored so why not" project, but it had clearly not ended that way.

It had been a long day handling some odds and ends for Silco and work in general. Sevika had been keeping quite a lot of odder hours lately because of that. However, this was a surprise to find after a long night through the holiday hours. Something Sevika often didn't think much of considering she didn't often celebrate such things.

Opening the gift, she came to see the intricate work put into the wood carving as well as the actual items inside the box. A spot for all the tools she often kept in a tool bag on her workbench at home. It made her smile sincerely as she settled with a drink in her one hand. "Bored all right. Bored and yet you managed to make something quite special for me, kid. Guess I'll need to return the favor with something special for you too. Maybe some more schematics I had thought over for some bombs." she uttered to herself.

"Give me one of those." It's not a demand, but more a request that Sevika usually will oblige-- so much for her umpteenth attempt to quit, lighting the cigarette and exhaling a sharp stream toward the station's ceiling.

"I know," she says, frustration in her voice. "That's not what I meant." It's late. They're tired. She's several hundred gil poorer. Xu runs her hand back through her hair, still stubbornly holding onto half the hairspray she'd doused it with before the party, and sucks down another lungful of smoke. "Can we just... go back to the hotel and talk about this in the morning? I'm too tired to think straight."

Shifting a hand, she held her pack out to Michele knowing well one would be grabbed. Tucking them back into her inner pocket, she shifted to let the smoke filter through her nose. So much had happened that night and she knew Fang wouldn't be too happy about it either. "That might be for the best," Sevika replied flicking her ashes to the side. She waited for the train alongside her lover and wondered what kind of conversation it would be come morning. Sevika was tired. Tired of other people, and tired of arguing with other people as well. She wanted to sleep with Michele in her arms for the night that was if she let her.
