I had a bad feeling about you when I turned the age of twenty four

So I prayed I never have to go through something I wasn't ready for

But the path you planned for me drained my soul and left me torn

So don't be surprised when I act like I don't give a fuck anymore

You always turn your back on me when I need you most

I keep knocking on your door but it's sealed and closed

I try my fucking best but you never let me achieve my goals

I guess it's time for me to say "fuck it" and choose the evil road

I should've told ya when I had the chance to

The questions got the best of me, still I had no answer

I always talk about my feelings in the past tense

Cuz I locked my heart some years ago and l forgot the password

After years in the darkness, it's hard to see things with clarity

Eyes like a broken lens, the light is blinding when it reflects back at me

So I can't be in the light, and I don't wanna be in the dark. What a fucking tragedy?

Daydreaming about these nightmares, hoping this whole thing is just a fantasy

I hope I never change, I mean for the worse

Despite the pain, I put a smile on my face every morning first

And even when it rains, I count my blessings, but sometimes I think I'm sort of cursed

The picture I paint is obscure and blurred

I hope I can change, I mean for the better

Break out of this cage and be free forever

I wanna turn the page and it's now or never

Just bury the rage of this vicious vendetta
