The Nike SF-AF1 is releasing in a new âStringâ colorway on January 19th, 2017. The militarized version of Bruce Kilgoreâs iconic 1982 basketball model was a surprise hit to end 2016 for NSW, as a number of military-like colorways disappeared from store shelves, each featuring ballistic nylon, weather resistant uppers and awesome paracord straps that sometimes doubled as straps to a coinciding duffle bag depending on the colorway. The Nike SF-AF1 String mixes things up though, as an updated lifestyle grade suede matches the updated boot-inspired lace eyelets while a gum outsole offsets the off-white midsole unit. What do you think of the look? Check out more detailed shots of this upcoming Nike SF-AF1 below courtesy of Rock City Kicks and stay tuned for more Release Dates right here .
Nike Basketball extends its legacy of signature athletes with the introduction of Paul George and his first-ever signature shoe, the Nike PG 1. Designed by Nike Basketball designer Tony Hardman (who also penned other low-cut hits like the Run The One and Hyperchase), the PG 1 features a low-cut build with a forefoot strap and Zoom Air cushioning â an ideal package for  Paul Georgeâs versatile play on both ends of the court.
This launch colorway makes use of a light grey body with an iridescent Swoosh, translucent outsole, and fish-scale detailed on the upper. It also features Paul Georgeâs 2K-rendered portrait on the insoles as a nod to his love for gaming, while the round lacelocks and fish-scale detailing on the outsole are inspired by his love of fishing.
Paul George is Nike Basketballâs 21st signature athlete in 44 years; he is also fourth active NBA player with a Nike signature shoe. The Nike PG 1 releases soon for an MSRP of $110; you can see them in action this Thursday as the Pacers battle the Nuggets in London.
The first-ever âteamâ model released after Jordan Brand began in 1997, the Jordan Jumpman Pro looks to be back for another retro run to celebrate its 20th birthday. Built with a similar design as the Air Jordan 12, its official Air Jordan contemporary from the same year, the Jumpman Pro features a full-grain leather upper with a Zoom-cushioned sole. Hopefully a better quality retro than the last time the shoe appeared in 2008 with poor leather and no carbon fiber shanks, it looks like the original black and red colorway previewed here does at least have translucent red outsoles like the original, as opposed to the solid rubber on the â08 version. Along with the original black, red, and white colorway, we see two all-new versions in white/cement and âCool Greyâ.
Are you happy to see the original team Jordan shoe return for its 20th birthday? Get a nice preview of the three upcoming colorways here, and weâll let you know when they get confirmed release dates.
Weâve known for quite some time that the original elephant printed Nike Air Max 1 âAtmosâ colorway would be coming back for Air Max Day ever since Nike allowed fans to vote on their retro of choice last year. One thing we didnât expect: Jordan Brand and Nike Sportswear to team up to release an extremely limited âAtmos Packâ featuring the famed atmos x Nike Air Max 1 âElephantâ (or an Air Max 1 heavily inspired by the original) and a yet to be unveiled special edition Air Jordan 3 colorway to match.
Both the Nike Air Max 1 and Air Jordan 3 are two of Tinker Hatfieldâs most recognizable designs, and there have been plenty of elephant printed crossovers in the past atop the 1987 running silhouette. J23App reported earlier today that the Nike Air Max 1 x Air Jordan 3 âAtmos Packâ will be limited to Tier Zero retailers only, so you can expect the offering to be extremely limited. We still donât have a look at the Air Jordan 3 Atmos, but something tells us it will feature traditional cement elephant print with that signature jade highlight to match the Air Max 1. Get excited.
Stay tuned for more details regarding this rumored Jordan Brand x Nike Sportswear âAtmos Packâ right here.
Pete Carroll and the Seattle Seahawks begin their road to the SuperBowl this Sunday, and although a third appearance in four seasons remains to be seen, we know for certain that Pete will be comfortable on the sidelines. The unofficial #TeamMonarch god will rock these PE editions of the Air Monarch IV, which the classic dad-shoe white/navy colorway hit with lime green accents, the Seahawks graphics on the tongue and Swoosh, and âAlways Competeâ boldly placed on the tongue. Just like the navy pair that was seeded out a few weeks, ago, this Air Monarch IV wonât hit retail.
One of the 10 most anticipated shoes of 2016 is the Nike VaporMax. Originally unveiled during Nikeâs Innovation Summit last March, the VaporMax features the most evolved form of Air Max that features no foam whatsoever on the midsole. Reputable sources are reporting that the Nike VaporMax is releasing during 2017 Air Max Day, which will fall on March 26th, 2017.
Thatâs not all thatâs dropping on Air Max Day 2017; the legendary atmos x Nike Air Max 1 âElephantâ is also set for a return, although it is unclear if it will be an alternate version from the original.
Weâll update when we receive official word on the Nike Vapormax release date as well as the Comme Des Garcons Vapormax release date.
Itâs the first batch of weekend sneaker releases in 2017! Itâs a New Year, so what will be your first purchase of January? North Carolinaâs own Black Sheep skateshop has taken the theme of a wolf in sheepâs clothing to an entirely new level with their latest Nike SB Dunk collaboration slated to release this Saturday, January 7th. The Black Sheep x Nike SB Dunk High âWolf In Sheepâs Clothingâ features actual scratch-off Swoosh branding on the side panel to commemorate the fable.
The Black Sheep Nike SB Dunk High utilizes a Summit White upper in a premium texturized suede for a vintage aesthetic meant to reference sheepâs wool. The simple construction sits upon a jet black midsole thatâs in direct contrast with the tonal upper while a head-turning accent of red hits the midsole stitching and outsole unit for a dash of something a bit more sinister.
Customized insoles feature a wolf a snarling wolf graphic with red eyes (you can even see the reflection of a Nike Swoosh in the predatorâs pupils) and sharp fangs to match the custom set of blood-speckled laces and lace lock set to release only at Black Sheepâs North Carolina location this Saturday.
Check out more detailed shots and a trailer for the Nike SB Dunk High collaboration and stay tuned for more Release Dates right here.
Nike Sportswear managed to bring back their retro All Conditions Gear imprint through a number of upgrades a few years ago, but what people really wanted were true and through retros of some of Nike ACGâs most iconic silhouettes. The Nike Air Mowabb came out again, but failed to capture the initial hype due to a price increase and the ever-changing interests of sneakerheads. People wanted a more tech-savvy model with retro influences that still functioned as a weather resistant, stylish way to survive the colder months. Thatâs where the Nike Zoom Terra Sertiq â16 model comes in.
This updated classic takes inspiration from past installments like the Nike Air Max Terra Sertig as a bold new construction featuring premium leather and fuse technology upgrades the silhouette for modern times. A new Zoom Air-infused midsole unit adds comfort while a neoprene mesh sockliner allows for additional ankle protection that past installments lacked. Two debut colorways are now available ranging from a Taxi, Chile Red option inspired by retro options and a simple Black, Antrhacite build.
Check out more detailed shots of this revitalized Nike ACG-inspired model below and know that you can find these two colorways today from select shops for $170 USD and on Nike.com.

Andre Johnson may be retired, but this Jordan athlete is leaving the entire league in the dust with his PEs. The Miami Hurricanes alumni is currently at the Russell Athletic Bowl wearing an Air Jordan 11 PE in the schoolâs distinctive green and orange hues, with a tumbled leather upper reminding us of last yearâs Air Jordan 11 â72-10â. These will likely never release at retail (nor will any Jordan x Miami shoe be released due to the schoolâs affiliation with adidas), but now that Jordan Brand has re-released every original Air Jordan 11 colorway ad nauseum, who knows? Check out the full shot of Johnsonâs PE below.
The NBAâs Christmas Day Showcase is always something to look forward to during the holidays, and it also serves as the perfect opportunity for brands to get in on the Christmas Spirit with a number of noteworthy and festive player exclusives. This year, Jordan Brand will be providing their athletes with a number of PEs inspired by the Air Jordan 13 OG in White, Black, True Red, and Pearl Grey.
The iconic Air Jordan 13 offering is referenced throughout the Jordan Brand Christmas Collection with the XIIIâs unique panther-eye inspired holographic branding arriving on the Jordan Melo M13, the Air Jordan 31, the Jordan CP3.X, and the Jordan Extra.Fly, each showcasing the feature on the tongue. The occasion is significant because it also marks the first time that Carmelo Anthony will debut his brand new signature model on-court this season. The Jordan Melo M13 releases on Jordan.com on January 1st, 2017, and is available now a specific retailers. Check out what Jordan Brand athletes will be wearing these player exclusives on-court on Christmas Day.

Basically combining two of their signature skate shoes into one, the Blazer Low GT and the All Court CK, Nike SB presents the new Blazer Low XT. The latest offering in the toe-cap skate shoe trend essentially features Grant Taylorâs iteration of the Blazer Low with the toe-capped vulcanized sole of Cory Kennedyâs All Court. The shoe debuts in two basic skate-friendly colorways of white/black and black/white, each with a grippy gum rubber outsole below. You can find them arriving now at select Nike SB suppliers like our online Nike Outlet.
The Nike Air Zoom Talaria was back in true form this summer to the delight of many running shoe collectors across the globe. Indeed a sight for sore eyes for many Talaria fans when it arrived in the iconic neon colorway in March, new colorways kept the masses satisfied throughout the summer. But what happens when it gets too cold and wet outside to rock your favorite runner from 1997? Luckily, Nike Sportswear has you covered with the all-new Talaria Mid Flyknit, the brandâs latest addition to their sneakerboot family.
Already dropping in the OG-inspired Volt colorway, this latest option offers a more traditional earthy color palette appropriate for the hiking boot design, featuring a mix of mossy green hues for the Flyknit and suede upper accented with Vachetta Tan leather on the toe and heel. These will be available at select Nike Sportswear retailers soon including nike.com.
The Nike Air Trainer Max â94 looks to be making an unexpected return in 2017 in low-top form, which we get an early look at here to day in two upcoming colorways. Youâll instantly recognize the classic âSafariâ colorway on the first version of the Air Trainer Max â94 Low, while Nike Sportswear also cooks up a second in the always-safe black, red, and white color combo. Never before released as a low-top, the Air Trainer Max from 1994 basically just drops its top about an inch for this all-new silhouette. Fans of Nike cross-trainers of the past can get their first preview of the Air Trainer Max â94 Low here, and stay tuned to us for a release date.
