Social Sunday: Spend the day with your family
Start the week by bonding with your family. Go pick up a movie and watch together, play a card or board game, bake together, and other fun activities. If some of the relatives are away, go and call them, play an online game– find out who the impostor is in among us, or simply catch up and talk about how they and you’ve been.
Motivational Monday: Develop a mantra
A mantra is a positive or affirmative statement that you tell yourself for the purpose of encouragement. Our minds are full of noise; however, creating a mantra can cut through such thoughts, most especially when you make one that is meaningful to you.
Tidy Tuesday: Check out Marie Kondo’s KonMari method
The KonMari method offers a minimalistic approach to organizing the things we have, however, that is not the main goal (it’s just an added bonus!). This method aims to create a space that gives one joy rather than stress (if opening and seeing your closet stresses you out, then this is for you). Make the commitment of organizing your space, find your purpose, get rid of items that are no longer needed, and keep things that spark joy.
Work it Wednesday: Try yoga
Yoga is one of the best self-care tools out there. Learning how to take care of yourself will create a ripple effect of positivity in your mind and body. Spending some time on your yoga mat has some benefits for your heart, bones, and brain. People of any age and fitness level can do most of the basics in yoga.
Therapeutic Thursday: Do some of the hobbies that calm you
You’ve made it past the middle of the week. It’s time to do activities that will set you at ease. When it comes to hobbies, it’s important to make them fun and reliably relaxing. You may do creative writing that will also help you gain new ideas, or let out your creative side through painting, and many more!
Fulfilling Friday: Try out new things
Feeling bored? Feel like life is repetitive? Open up your world to new experiences. Learn a new skill, or say yes to things you usually talk yourself out of. You never know, you might have a greater sense of meaning from something you are yet to try. Do it for the possibility that one or two minor changes may set your stage for a major fulfillment.
Salubrious Saturday: Give yourself a break from social media
It has become common knowledge that the excessive use of social media correlates with anxiety and depression. Having a social media detox will help in taking care of your mental health, as it can alleviate negative feelings and stress.

Communication is especially important at times like these. Checking up on how your distant family and friends are doing can be beneficial for both you and them. It may ease feelings of anxiety and loneliness as well as strengthen your bonds. In fact, letting them know that you care may help more than you think.

YouTube has a wide array of motivational videos and seminars that can give you some pretty useful life advice. A speaker talking about the rewards that come with working hard could be the extra push that keeps you driven for a whole week. Having a messy workspace can be a hindrance and lessen your motivation to finish tasks. On the other hand, having a well-organized one will allow you to find things without trouble and even improve the efficiency of your work. Additionally, seeing everything neat and tidy helps put a person in the right headspace and may contribute to their peace of mind.

It is common knowledge that exercise has a lot of benefits. Of course, this is not only limited to our physical health, but our mental and emotional health as well. Not only is it good at keeping you fit and flexible, it reduces the risk of certain diseases as well. It also keeps the brain healthy and improves your memory. On top of this, it is a good mood-booster.

With the weekend just right around the corner, it would be nice to take a step back after a long day. Treat yourself to a little me-time and focus on what makes you happy. Perhaps lying down with the fluffiest pillow you have supporting your back and a good book in one hand ought to do the trick. A nice, calming cup of tea would be a good addition to this self-care package as well.

Continuing on from Thursday, another good way to unwind after a stressful week is by playing. You can either invite your family and/or friends and bring out a variety of board games or whip out a game console and knock yourself out. Doing this not only serves as a fun pastime but a stimulating exercise as well.

Being cooped up inside for months due to the pandemic and even more so now with online classes, taking a breather is essential. Doing some light stretching or taking a stroll in your own garden can be a good change of pace from chasing deadlines in front of a laptop all day. Caring for plants is a good hobby to pick up and gives your surroundings—especially the air—a fresh touch.

During this time of crisis where we cannot go out of our homes, it is normal to feel longingness. To cope up with this feeling, you can catch up with friends, reminisce your memories together, and plan on what you can do in the future. It is very much important that we look out for each other and simply listen when our friends are feeling down or having problems so that we can survive and cope up together.

As Gabrielle Bernstein stated, “Getting organized is a sign of self-respect.” That may be a simple thing for you, but it is a big step that can show how you love and respect yourself. In fact, Dr. Carter, a writer and psychologist, explained that clutter is likely to be associated with negative emotions whereas a clean space is more likely to be linked with positive emotions. Trust me, you will feel comfortable and happy in some way after arranging your clothes.
