For all his talks of how proud he is to be Queer and how much he loves being a trans man, he's fairly quiet this pride month about like... a lot of issues facing the community right now or the history of it all besides a vague "we've come so far" type beat. Instead he's focusing on a nonbinary person who he thinks might possibly be running One(1) gossip blog on him and misgendering them. As someone who's mixed race and half Native, I am filled with nothing but dread whenever Salem announces he's making a mixed race character or a Native character. He reduces any racial-culture that isn't his own to either stereotypes or just pretends its merely a fun dlc to get more representation points and doesn't want to tackle the intricacies of what its like to be mixed, or the way different identities interact with one another. Is Norah, recently announced to be a mix of Lakota and Black, going to have any baggage with that? Is her being poly going to come up with how many tribes tend to have a traditionalist view on relationships? ANYTHING?? Thank you for this blog, so I can say this: Salem adds celulite only on his trans men. Cellulite is a female(human)-specific trait, because male and female adipose tissue in the thighs is structured differently. So Salem just confirms that not only he sees trans men as having to be extemely feminine, but that they should show their Female traits
