After sometime, I have felt again this pain. The pain that I love. The pain I'm foolish to look forward to.

First

Today, I have practiced my profession once again in a clinical laboratory. Recieving specimens, requests, and all other stuffs don't bother me, you may also include phlebotomy. But there was this one thing that I am surely afraid of, extracting blood or handling blood infected with HIV. And in this day, I was task to draw blood from a patient with HIV. "Should i be afraid? What am I supposed to do?" I asked myself. But thankfully, my patient greeted me with a smile and most of the nervousness inside me went away and it gave me confidence to perform phlebotomy with ease. This is my first HIV positive patient extraction. It is a milestone in my profession. But greater than that, in an instant, I realized that even in amidst of problems you may encountee it will be up to you if you choose to be happy or not...
