Brendon Tremblay (Descendants 5) and Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie (Sterling Point) are now internationally famous, so I’ve seen a lot of people wanting to watch Premier trio.
But right now, you basically need to speak French to watch the whole thing...
Yes, a few early episodes are officially on YouTube, and you can turn on auto‑captions… but YouTube only has the first episodes of each season, so you can’t actually follow the full story. The full series (78 episodes) is only available in French on the official platforms (Tou.tv or Zone Jeunesse)
So I'm wondering... Should I make English fansubs?
I’m actually working on English subtitles for my Émile x Laurent compilations that are already on Youtube/Google Drive (I’ll update this post when the subs are ready). Émile x Laurent - Season 1
Émile x Laurent - Season 2 (EDIT : I'm seriously considering doing fansubs for the entire series now so this will be on standby and progressively done as I work through the episodes. It's simply more practical that way). Translating isn’t the hard part for me, syncing everything properly is what takes forever.
If I do it, it'll be a year-long project, like one episode a week or something.
I wish the network would make them available but that's dreaming in colour.
So, what do you say?

Revamping my Grilled Cheesby P&P AU fanfiction
So it has come to my attention that it has been almost a decade since I wrote my infamous Grilled Cheesby Pride and Prejudice au (I FEEL OLD help).
Either way, I reread it a few days ago, and realized my English skills improved over the years because I cringed so hard at some things I wrote (in regards to vocabulary. I think it was ok grammatically speaking).
So yeah, I guess what I'm trying to say is that I will be revamping this fic for the time being (says the girl who's also writing another Grilled Cheesby fanfic right now...). Only the first part (Sid POV) and the first two chapters of the second part (Claude POV) will be revamped. The last four chapters of the second part have already been betaed and they did such an amazing job, I won't change these chapters. Of course the story won't change, only how it's written, just to smooth things up.
I guess I'm writing it here because I won't change the publication dates on AO3 (because it wouldn't be fair) so it could be known by some people who would be interested in the changes. And because by saying it out loud, I'm committed to do it. Like I don't have a choice now.

I literally watched all of B99 in 2 weeks. So those parallels are really fresh in my mind, but they feel really far away. Things have changed so much in 5 seasons, but Jake and Amy are still fundamentally the same. I love this show so much wow.
