Over a year of planning and finally, one of the biggest weddings New Orleans had ever seen had arrived. But tragedy soon struck when Elizabeth Webber was found dead in the bathroom in her wedding dress on the day of the wedding. She was drenched in a pool of red and quickly the police came rushing in. At 1:34pm that day, Elizabeth was pronounced dead before the two families could finally combine. Now, given their vile history and family disputes, all fingers quickly pointed to the Corinthos. But the head of the family seems to have an alibi in play, but who knows if the Spencer’s are speaking the truth as they stand by their friends. Which leads everyone to wonder who really was behind the murder of one of New Orleans’ finest? Was it a member of one of the feuding families or perhaps even the upcoming anniversary of the infamous Ryan Chamberlain murders, a string of vile killings that happened exactly twenty-five years ago, has sparked a dark fuel in the heart of someone truly evil? Are there going to be more events? If so, when?

We are, yes! Personally, I love events especially the dramatic ones and well we are a soap opera rp so expect BIG things to happen. And I know the next one will have a lot of interactive plots and people will get to be paired up! As for when... not sure! Something the admins have to talk about but probably next month! Maybe an event each month or something! Who knows!

A DECREE IN HISTORY

Born and raised in the outskirts of New Orleans to the parents of Daniel and Jacqueline Taylor, Amber was deemed the middle child of the family. Two older siblings had reigned the house until she came along and after that she was set aside for when the baby of the family joined them. Of course, she never had any hard feelings towards her parents or any of her siblings. They had gotten along pretty well for the most part, each of them staying in their own little circle of friends. Amber had gotten along well with the popular crowd the moment her father had bought the coolest book bag in elementary school. In high school she became part of the cheerleading squad and had high hopes to go onto acting school and make her way to Hollywood one of these days.

Sadly, the idea of acting and making it big in the world had fallen short in the last summer before college. The resident bad boy of the school, one who just barely made it to pass, had been coming around her after school job with the intentions of taking her out on a date. Soon enough that one date turned into more and it was just a few months later Amber had found out she was pregnant. How it happened, she couldn’t really tell you. See, she had a secret. One night at one of his friend’s parties, someone had given her a taste of the addiction she would come to have for seven years. A sort of surprise to stop any of the plans she had into using her savings to go to college. What she didn’t plan on happening was the happiness between her and the boy running out as quick as it did. Back in the picture were the fights, the alcohol, and the nights of her ignoring his phone calls. She swore she stopped using while pregnant.. Even if things weren’t the greatest, she still had him to go too when it got too bad. Or so she thought. The couple had another baby girl just one year later and things went down fast. He left her probably around five months later saying he wasn’t fit for being a dad to two girls. It was then her just barely there addiction, only to help calm her nerves at night she said, had grown into something more powerful than she had thought.

Seven years go by with her just floating through the time. From working two jobs and having her kids stay at a friend’s place or the favorite being grandma and grandpa’s house, it was quite obvious she wasn’t really there for her girls. Sort of put on the back burner to keep the roof over their heads and to also fuel the addiction she kept under wraps as well as she could. And one day it was too much. She can’t tell you much about that night except for the fact someone had decided to save her. When she woke up in the hospital bed and saw all the faces of her family along with the stranger who took her there, it couldn’t have been more obvious that she needed to get help. Surprisingly enough, her knight in shining armor was with her with every step of the way. Now twenty something years later, the two got married and the broken pieces of a family were slowly mended together. Every day she never forgot about the pain she caused her girls and has actively worked harder in being a better mother. Things were finally at peace and everyone was happy. It was such a shame that the boy from her past just had to show up and ruin it.
