Sweet and sour pork, second version with my yesterdays sauce. I added cubes of pork coated in a batter or rice flower, ice water, buckwheat and garlic. First coated in the flower then dipper in the batter then shallow fried in peanut oil. Added to my existing sauce with vegetables served over jasmine rice with some fresh cilantro. Bon appétit. Sweet sour stir fried vegetables, with ox heart cabbage, carrots, bell peppers, green chillies, cherry tomatoes, red onions, garlic, dark soy , sesame oil, apple vinegar, tomato purée, chicken stock, left over bottle bits of the soy sauce, sriracha and some tomato ketchup. Simple rye toasted bread with mackerel salad, with olives, sesame oil rice wine vinegar, limejuice, Tarragon mayo, and loads of fresh black pepper. Topped with a drizzle of olive oil. Wednesdays lunch was Carrot coconut chicken soup with loads of Asian herbs and spices. Lemongrass, lime leaves, galangal, ginger, garlic, parsley and cilantro of Koriander. Chicken legs and bones cooked in the broth. Half of the broth is puréed and added back into the soup after the chicken legs got plucked and returned in the soup. Served alongside is stir fried spinach with garlic topped with salmon baked on the skin in olive oil and dipped in. Black toasted sesame seeds. I put a drizzle of wasabi sauce on it.
