Hi! I’ve been very busy with school lately and it’s getting worse… Writing blog articles takes a very long time and I’m afraid I’m going to have to tighten my selection :( Because I have my big exams in 10 days and I will be away most of the summer holidays, I will write only a few articles.

{Luxuaeh is one of the blogs I post the most from! I discovered it at the start of my tumblr experience and believe me, things would have been different if I hadn't! Regina's style is truly one of my references ! This blog is so colourful, refreshing and amazing, yet its layout is simple. It takes my breath away! Luxuaeh's posts are rebellious in a way, reminding me of a trendy teen's life, but they are always truthful. The quotes Regina chooses are also the best! Hi! I’d love to know more about you!

Hi there! My name’s Regina, 17 years old and I’m from the Philippines!

Are you shy or outgoing? Describe your personality!

I’d say that I’m more of an outgoing type of person since I love making friends and spending time with people. I’m a loud and happy person that loves making others smile and laugh when I can, and I’m a relaxed type of person that can easily get along with others. I hope to make more friends here in tumblr and connect with them!

Do you consider yourself as a fashionable person? I think you are!

Thank you very much! I could say that but my taste in fashion isn’t exactly the same as everyone else’s. I stay true to myself and find beauty in the things that really catch my eye, which are simple, comfortable and colorful.

How did you get to know tumblr?

I got to know Tumblr a long time ago when I was around 14. My friend had a blog and said it was addictive and fun, so I decided to try it out (turns out she’s right. I love this website!)

Why did you create a blog?

I created a blog so that I could connect with my friends and use it to express myself. Also I wanted to show people things that are beautiful, even though they could be found in everyday life. How long have you had your blog for ? I’ve had my blog for 3 years now!

Luxuaeh is so refreshing and trendy ! I would say it’s a mixture between fresh and tropical, but your blog is so much more than that and you have a style of your own ! How do you describe your blog ?

My blog is a blend of a bunch of different kinds like fresh, tropical, minimalist, rosy and fashion. I reblog things that really catch my eye, relax me, or perfectly explain how I feel, and in other words: a blog that truly expresses who I am.

Hi Annika ! I’d like to know a bit about yourself !

Hey Léna!! My name’s Annika, I’m 19 and from Australia! I live in a small country town in SA and I’ve recently just gotten my full licence! (eeeek!) I’m a really creative person, I’m currently a University Student (external) studying a Bachelor of Creative Arts and Industries! I’m really helpful, caring and always up to talking to new people and making new friends!

What’s your dream job ?

At the moment my career goal is set on being a Graphic Designer but my dream job would be something to do with travelling. Something that would take around the world. I’m really hoping to study from overseas at some stage because I’d just love the experience! 

Can you tell me the names of your favourite songs and artists ?

Most of my favourite songs are actually playing on my blog! I’m really into Pop and Dance music, plus a bit of Alternative, Rock and RnB.

Do you have a role model ?

I actually have two role models!

#1 being my amazing mother. She’s been through a lot, especially tough times and I admire her strength and caring nature. She’s an absolutely amazing women and I don’t know what I’d do without her!

#2 being a women called Cindy, she’s the wife of my old PE teacher who was so hilarious and she’s someone I play netball with (is in my club). She’s so friendly, nice and so supportive of everyone. She has the BEST personality I have ever seen in a person and is absolutely amazing at any sport! She’s just so helpful and happy all the time, gives off a really great vibe and makes you happy just being around her!

Can you tell me a little about Surfeau ?

Surfeau is my main blog, it’s an ocean/surf blog that I’ve had since June 2013! I’ve edited the look of my blog to be as unique as possible, yet suit my blog style. 

Have you always been a surf/ocean blog ?

Yes! I most certainly have! When I first made my blog I thought long and hard about what blog style I wanted. Surfeau actually wasn’t the first blog I’d ever created, I wanted to start fresh so I decided to make new account. My old account used to be hipster that changed to soft grunge but I wasn’t enjoying it. My blog style came from my love of the ocean and just simplistic things, like love, friendship, drawings, etc. 

You recently got a new url. In the future, would you like to change some other things on your blog ?

Yes I did! My previous url was surf-coastal, which I am still very attached to. I probably will change something on my blog in the future. I’ll start with minor things like fonts, colours, background etc and then maybe the arrangement on my blog. I might even change my theme again! It took me a long time to find a theme that I liked, I actually started with Scrollr and then found Soap, which changed to my current theme!

You’re a really active member on tumblr ! You post on this blog and on a side one called Aquarunner, you’re the owner of MintBanners, you organized awards, you help blogs on HTML Directory and much more ! Are you planning on adding some other activities ?

I most certainly aim!! I’ve started writing blog articles cause they are a brilliant way to get your blog out there and people can read a bit about you and your blog! I’m also thinking about starting another network that anyone can join, I haven’t seen a network with the idea I have yet so it could be a winner!

Can you give me 5 reasons that explain why you like tumblr and having a blog ?

I get to have my own space, I’m an only child and my space is really important to me. So being able to blog what I want and express myself which is fantastic.

I love to help people, so being able to answer peoples questions, especially about HTML and make banners for them just gives me an accomplished feeling. I like to be as helpful as possible!

Tumblr is a great social space because I get to chat to people from all over the world and make friends with people who are just amazing, honest, friendly, caring people, just like myself.

I get to work on my design skills. It’s really really handy and relevant to me because of the course I’m doing at Uni and I’ll probably use the skills I learn here in the future.

Tumblr is really inspirational, like for example, if you want to get fit you can actually follow fitness/health blogs to give yourself motivation! (I’m guilty of this!) 

Any tips for a blog like yours ?

Appearance is everything, this goes out to all blog styles, just make sure that it’s clean, understandable, direct and organized. Make sure you have a theme (style), colour scheme to match and stick to it. Pick your posts carefully and make sure they work well together.

Don’t get to caught up on your blog, you’re here to fun and meet some amazing new people! Don’t be nasty to your followers, be nice, helpful and caring towards them, even if they’re not your followers. Don’t send hate to people, instead send anonymous compliments, you’ll makes someones day!

This "artiste en devenir" is also my best friend on tumblr. She's caring, smart and has amazing taste. I got the opportunity to interview this posh soul, here's what happened.}

Hi Farah! Can you please give me some information about yourself and Muhfin?

Hi Léna! My name's Farah, I'm a French-Tunisian girl and I've had tumblr for nearly a year now! My blog style is mainly posh but I also reblog whatever flows my boat :) I got the URL from a tumblr best friend and I couldn't thank her enough! It fits with my blog style :D

I saw you were previously a fresh blog. Why did you change to posh? What do you think of your new blogstyle?

I changed to posh because fresh was getting a bit too repetitive for me, I'm afraid. When I discovered posh, I simply fell in love with the blog style! I'm in love with my new blog style because it describes my personality better and I hope I'll never change :)

You have a really nice camera and the photos you take are amazing! Why do you like photography so much?

Wow thank you this is so nice! I guess I like it a lot because it shows the beauty of the simplest things taken through a piece of machinery. I got an amazing camera for my birthday recently and I can't stop taking pictures! My dad's wedding is coming up and he told me I'd be one of the photographers. I can't hold my excitement anymore! :D

What would you like to do after your studies? How do you see your future?

Wow that's tricky.. I'm actually aspiring to become an actress when I grow up. I think I'd see myself living with a husband and children in a house in Madrid or Vienna. However, if that doesn't go as planned, I'd think I'd rather be a photographer or graphic designer :)

Can you give me random facts about yourself?

I bite my nails

I love to swim

Badminton is my favourite sport and I’m actually quite good at it
