I laughed many times while watching the new OVA. I miss these characters and how ONE writes their interactions sooo much. not to mention Bones' signature animation & creative cuts. mp100 is always charming I can't get enough. the OVA felt canon instead of anime original, which is nice too. It might as well be canon because I can easily see this being a mini arc after the events of WD and before Divine Tree.

thinking about how reigen hesitated before opening that email from his mother...about how his mother basically ignored what he was doing w spirits and such except for when reigen essentially "failed" in the media...about how much reigen wrote about he was a failure and a nuisance in that "last words" letter to his parents when he thought he was going to die on that train in the ova.............................

can we talk about this? about how reigen visibly struggled seeing that his mom had sent him an email? about how, despite being a parental/mentor figure to mob, he NEVER mentions his parents even once? about how the only time its shown that his mom decided to contact him was to rub it in his face that he was wrong?? about how he treated his love for his parents as a job and not something that he actually felt?? hello????
