Trump Weird News - Trump Speak: Crock Or Scam, Take Your Pick !!!
one for the good side
On July 13, 2026, U.S. District Judge Kathleen M. Williams officially voided President Donald Trump's controversial $1.8 billion settlement with the IRS, ruling that the underlying lawsuit was filed for an "improper purpose". The judge found that because Trump ultimately oversees the executive branch agencies he was suing, there was no true adversity between the two sides, characterizing the arrangement as a collusive attempt to use the court system for self dealing. The decision effectively strips away the sweeping tax audit immunities previously granted to Trump, his adult sons, and the Trump Organization. Judge Williams noted that Trump was effectively "suing himself". Because he controls the executive branch, there was no genuine legal controversy or opposing interest. The original May 2026 agreement barred the IRS from pursuing audits into past tax claims involving Trump and his businesses. Under this new ruling, all parties are barred from citing the deal, allowing the IRS to resume its audits. The settlement had established a $1.776 billion "Anti-Weaponization Fund" using taxpayer money. It was intended to compensate political allies who claimed government targeting, but faced severe bipartisan backlash and had already been functionally abandoned. The court imposed monetary and non-monetary sanctions. Trump's personal lawyer, Alejandro Brito, was referred to the Florida Bar for disciplinary proceedings. The order was also forwarded to the New York State Bar regarding Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche. Trump originally filed a $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS in January 2026. The suit claimed the agency failed to safeguard his confidential tax records after a contractor leaked them to media organizations. After returning to the White House, Trump's personal legal team brokered the settlement with senior officials at his own Department of Justice, drawing immediate legal challenges from watchdog groups and lawmakers.. One for the good guy's..
