Tumblr had this weird update again and, apparently, you can no longer do the cheat of editing urls to make your replies appear normally on the dash.
It seems the only way to fix it is to download xkit? but— I’m not really sure yet.

The moment that she snorted, Lest knew that she was going to invalidate the extreme intensity of his dreams. Well.. he supposed that, as compared to her own, they may be considered shallow and petty— but, still!!! Green ranger was a complete badass. Despite being a comic relief for the most part, he was still strong and capable and, in his dreams, heroic because he always seems to rescue the fallen allies.
It was enjoyable because it was like watching an episode of the series itself but the strange thing is that he gets to control what the good guys do— like some sort of commander. But, if that were the case, doesn’t that make it more like… a video game of sorts? ( very much like that one specific tactical game that he has been obsessing over lately ).
“Well— with him alone, maybe, but the whole crew was complete!
Everyone was working together to beat a common enemy!
Everyone was doing their best to stay alive, while keeping
others alive with them! I think that would make for a pretty
intense dream!”
His slightly defensive tone died out when she asked him what has gotten into him— as if offering to make her breakfast was something strange? Well… he supposed that it’s not really a secret that they were both horrible at the matters of cooking but it didn’t mean that they were completely hopeless..?? And, besides, it was just breakfast???
He’ll be fine.
“Breakfast in Bed…?” He blinked, before a mischievous smile
formed on his face. “Well. Okay. I’ll be right back.”
Truth be told, she was a big fan of the ranger who treats his sword as a flute, but there was just something far more impressive than that-- oh, I don’t know... a white tiger sword that talks, maybe? Frey chuckles at her overly defensive brother. “Oh...I don’t know... Green is cool? He’s a badass! But White Ranger is cooler, so maybe if he was there then yes, that is an incredibly intense dream, twinny.”
When he agrees to her small request, Frey felt somewhat victorious. Even if she was just being silly and spoiled, it felt really nice still for them to jest like this. Again. After so, damn long. Frey made herself comfortable in bed before clapping her hands twice, her voice taking on a more pompous tone. “Chop, chop then, brother. Please don’t burn down our kitchen.”
Then, she continues to lie down, a silly little grin forming. She failed to explain to that silly dork of a brother of hers that she was feeling much, much better, but so it seems he’s picked up on it, even if she never mentioned it.
“He he, stupid brother...” She mutters to herself as she pulls the cover right up to her nose as she lightly giggles.

“…I assure you, little bird. If I could choose my dreams, it would be an extension of truths.” Numerous memories comes into mind; happy ones they shared through years of companionship he fails to compare to anyone else. “But, yes, I’m aware it was just a dream. I’ve long since learned you’re not exactly…” A small pause, words clashing as he finds one fit for use. “…the type to be restrained by ideologies. A pedestal is too shallow, so is a label– ah, but I do like calling you little bird…”
Great. Now he was confused. All this time he’s been placing that mental image of a free bird right alongside her– did she not like it after all? He’d stop gladly if it causes her discomfort, disheartening as it was considering… he really did love calling her by that nickname. It was his, his alone and he loved it. He looked at her apologetically, somewhat embarrassed to have only realized this now, but he asks anyway, “I apologize for my dream and my insensitive insistence of calling you by that nickname– I can stop… if its not okay with you?”
As she pouts and turns away, some form of annoyance in her tone, Gale was left wondering if this was just her teasing again or she was honestly upset. He hated not looking at her directly in the eyes– it seemed impossible to know! Her act and words she can twists, yes, but she was never dishonest when it came to the pair of beautiful green eyes he will never grow tire of. They would dim down and appear empty when she’s troubled or sad. Lighten up in an instant if it was the opposite. And rarely, those said eyes would soften up and mean something he can’t quite explain, but he was glad it was directed at him. He wondered if those same eyes were present now as she spoke of something familiar, a promise spoken between them some time ago. A promise that sent his foolish heart racing.
“…?” She was being unfair right now, turning away from him. He had an incredible advantage when it came to knowing about one’s honest thoughts and feelings yet he can’t use it on her and he never will. The only way he had to find out certain things was if she simply looks at him as they spoke yet there she was, using her height as an advantage as she continues acting like a grump. “Frey…” His voice was low and shy, but his actions were not. He shifts and turns enough, head peeking down to meet her in the eye. While his face was quickly flustering up, he wasn’t exactly very mindful of that. All he needed to know was one thing and one thing only. “…when it comes to you, I become an incredibly idiotic man… so… indulge my idiocy for a moment…” Don’t turn back now. “…does this mean I can take you out? On a date? Me and you?”
Gale had a knack of confusing her words sometimes but this-- this! How can she not like that endearing nickname? She saves him the trouble and flicks him right on the nose for being such a dummy, “Honestly, Gale. Where did you even pick that up? I love it when you call me little bird. Don’t stop, geez.” She ‘tsk’s and shakes her head, wondering why someone as smart as Gale can be so clueless sometimes. It was funny. Cute, even. But once upon a time, he never voiced out these kind of things. What if he suddenly started doing things-- or stopped-- just because of assumptions like that? It... saddened her a bit, but he was being honest with her more now and that brought some form of relief. It was strange, though. Before, his honesty summoned discomfort and regret on her side. It was as if those honest, sweet thoughts and words he had for her was a sin she shouldn’t even hold, no matter how she dismissed it. Now...
The brief silence she got as an answer made her wonder if he forgot their little agreement. She didn’t mind being forward when the situation called for it, but she hoped-- she dearly hoped-- he didn’t forget that certain promise they made when she was sick. There was a reason she was incredibly excited and came over here as soon as she can, after all. Needless to say, she looked forward to knowing where this leap of faith will take them. She continued to fold her arms, feeling anxious as he decided to be mute for a while. Said anxiety only increased when he suddenly appears in front of her. “..!”
So that’s how it felt, she admits to herself embarrassingly as she was forced to lean back to the couch, his flustered look incredibly infectious. “Gale?” Came her simple reply, blinking once before sinking deep into his heterochromatic hues. Now was not the time to think about this, but he was-- is -- handsome. Cute as he turns red so quickly, but then again, she can’t exactly tease or judge him on that department. She held her breath as he continued with his question, sinking further as he effortlessly made her awkward despite the one initiation things.
“Yes?" Ah, she sounded so unsure. And that was the opposite of what she currently felt. So with a stronger resolve, she swallowed down the unnecessary dash of comfort between them and nods. “I mean, yeah... we talked about it before, didn’t we? The past few days-- hmm, weeks?-- have been a little overwhelming for me and you, and Lest... I just-- I feel better now. I am better now.” She starts loosening up, even under his watch, lips curving into an honest, grateful smile. “A promise is a promise, Gale. Whenever you’re ready, let’s go out on a date ♡ “

The normally reclusive stargazer was caught in Frey Valor’s web of cheer and surprises; and while he should be used to this by now, it just simply wasn’t possible. Especially since it had been quite some time since said person was cheerful or in the mood for little surprises such as this. Even as she teases him, he couldn’t help but take it seriously, given his most recent dream. His lips formed a straight line, eyes closing at the displeasure of the thought. “…that’s not a very good joke, little bird. Your visits will always make me happy, you know that.”
As his nostrils was filled with the scent of his favorite poison, Gale flutters an eye open, curiously spotting a thermos that he assumes was filled with coffee. Paired with the basket he concludes she had brought along some food for him. Her good mood must be particularly good today; Gale could only hope it will not end in a blink of an eye. He nods along to confirm that it was indeed a bad dream, gladly taking the cup of coffee from her. In all honesty, he’d rather drink it directly from the thermos, but one must not be too greedy.
"It’s nothing too concerning; but it was about you.” He says simply, taking the cup closer to his lips, finding simple joy at the fact this was prepared for him by Frey. He takes a few more moments before continuing to speak so he can drink and enjoy the coffee– knowing Frey, she would not like waiting, however, so he brings the cup down after a lengthy sip.
“But if you must know, it’s about something simple, yet alarming. For me, at least.” For me. Just me. While he knows his importance now towards the acrobat he cherishes, the wind of change was so alarming at times, he does not wish to assume too much. That, and he fully can’t register the thought yet; him, having a chance. Their embrace weeks ago still lingered very clearly in his mind, a happy memory he’ll take with him forever. “I couldn’t reach you. Not even if I run, or walk, or do anything else; you were simply too far ahead and out of reach.”
His gaze falls to the girl– no, woman– that listened to his tale, mismatched eyes wondering what she thought of his pathetic dreams. Her timing was perfect, if he truly ponders about it. To dream about not reaching her, and yet the moment he wakes to reality, there she was. Fate wasn’t so bad sometimes. “And I woke up with an annoying girl loudly greeting me in the morning. I think that dream ended fairly well.”
It was just a simple joke; something to make him wake up or react because normally, he was incredibly easy to tease. Normally, he’d be the one rendered blushing and speechless. Yet her own words backfired at her, and suddenly her little joke was turned into something sweet. When did Gale became so sneaky? “Ah-- sorry?” She says a little too stupidly, failing to form a proper retort. Damn you Gale for taking jokes seriously! She really shouldn’t get too worked up; it wasn’t like he blatantly admitted he’d be saddened by her disappearance!!
Her composure returns when he starts talking about his dreams. While he seemed like he was dismissing at first, she was relieved to know he was actually going to tell her more. “Your nightmare was about me?” This was a point of concern for her-- as one who suffered with nightmares, she’d hate to be the cause of one. He says it wasn’t too concerning, but a nightmare was a nightmare. She kept a straight face on as she listened further, lower lip bitten as she felt rather anxious to know why she was being troublesome, even in dreams.
I couldn’t reach you. Not even if I run, or walk, or do anything else; you were simply too far ahead and out of reach.
It was a vague description of a dream, but it was enough to make her shift in her seat and frown. There he goes again, placing her in some imaginary pedestal. She’d...rather be a girl on the ground than be some figure high up in the sky. Especially since she never thought of herself highly enough to be way beyond others! “You know... sometimes you really make me sound like such a snob. What’s with this nonsense about being too out of reach?” If it wasn’t for his gaze, the way he looks at her with his mismatched eyes that seemed icy at first glance before it slowly warmed up to you... she would shut him down right there and then. Annoying... loud... now that was more like. It wasn’t the best words to say to a girl you supposedly love but it felt more like herself, not some unreachable creature flying on a sky of her own. If she truly wanted to fly high up in the skies, it would be with the people she loves and cherishes, not a lonesome flight. “I mean, that was just a dream-- a bad one? It bears no truth. I’m not someone fit for a pedestal and... you know that, right?”
She folds her arms and leans sideways, aiming for the shoulders she’s figuratively and physically relied on for countless days and nights. The feeling she had felt before on the day he visited to care for her never left, and every now and then, more often that not, she’d think and wonder about them. Where they are currently-- where they could go? There was a scary possibility that she wasn’t sure she was ready to explore yet, but she never dismissed it fully. After all, maybe a chance was all they needed?
“Excuse me for being loud and annoying then...” She mutters with a small pout, a loud ‘hmp’ following it as she further leans on him, head lowered to avoid eye contact. Even if his relief of sorts that she was here now was something that she liked, he doesn’t need to know that, now does he? “...and here I was, feeling kind enough to get you something to eat and drink. Maybe ask you to go somewhere nice and fun if you’re not too busy... I guess not, hmm?” Hint, hint. Take a hint.
I keep picturing myself running towards his arms and crashing against his chest.

Opened Heart, Opened Doors || Frey & Lest
[ Lest: ]
█ ▌█ ▌[ ♕ ] —– ;
Having her retort wittily to his comment must be a good sign, right? It should mean that, despite everything, she was still… Frey, right? Of course, he knew that three years of being apart would definitely mean that they’ve had the chance to grow into mature adults but, if she was still like how she was when they were younger, she would try her hardest to hold her tears in infront of others because she always wanted to appear ‘strong’, to appear ‘capable’— and, judging from her current state, it seems that she is doing exactly just that.
Truth be told, he… didn’t really know that she felt this strongly for Micah. To think that she would feel this devastated… to shed so many tears, to lose that spark that she once had because of him breaking up with her. If he… hadn’t intervened, if he hadn’t trusted Micah so much, if he hadn’t encouraged him to give her that dating ring… would things have turned out differently? Would she have avoided this kind of heartbreak?
Love… Why is it so difficult? Why does it end so suddenly? Why does it cause immense pain when, in theory, it’s supposed to make live worth living? In this light, he supposed that love is still a vague concept that he couldn’t really grasp well enough as he was just learning to fall in love himself—–
Anyway, he turned his attention back onto Frey— but, just as he was about to speak once more, he was cut off by her words.
“Why are you even here, dummy. The plants need some watering.”
The… tone in her voice as she acknowledged him sounded familiar. It was… the very same tone that she had used against him from when they were still teenagers— when she wanted nothing to do with him, when she tried her hardest to push him away. Despite the fact that he knew she didn’t mean all those harsh words from before, despite knowing that she had wanted to say other words to him… that she , too, had difficulty expressing herself whenever she was upset and, or, angry—
—He couldn’t help the aching feeling inside his chest.
Old memories, old feelings resurfacing. The confidence that he had just a few minutes ago had started to waver and, for a moment, he wondered if she should do as he was told and leave her alone. But, he immediately dismissed that thought because he knew better.
As he knew that words will definitely fail him this time around, he decided to grab pieces of paper, pens and, lastly, a pair of recyclable bottles with caps— stuffing them inside his fanny pack— before he grabbed her by the arm and dragged outside of the farmhouse.
“…The plants can wait! Here, come with me—- don’t ask questions. Trust me.”
Her sobs continued, quiet still, her body mildly shaking. Even as she covered her face with her hands, she felt so vulnerable. To break down in front of a person-- your brother, your twin-- and be rendered speechless, too...! She was no better than any other sibling there. Despite priding in this close relationship she has with her family, here she was, finding it harder than ever to even piece together words to explain why she felt like this, perhaps find an explaination for the overwhelming distraught that consumed her.
When Lest left her side, she felt relieved at first. Relieved now that she was left alone and she won’t burden him further with her childish, senseless tears and refusal to even speak about it. Then, when it sinks in that he did leave her side, her tears fall further. It was like a painful confirmation that she would rather not have. Assuming was one thing, but for it to be real? For her side to be empty so soon? For Lest to leave h--
Getting pulled from the couch, Frey yelped in surprise as she was grabbed by the arm and taken outside. “--don’t ask questions. Trust me.” Frey blinks repeatedly as she stares at her brother with confusion. Trust played such a cruel game in her mind. She trusted him, more than anyone. But even with the trust she holds for him, why was it she can’t ever be truly be honest? Even with all her big talk about honesty as a child and as a grown-up?
Frey allowed her legs to do all the work, moving along as Lest took her to Goddess knows where. Lest can be just as impulsive as her sometimes, and a part of her was worried because of this. She can’t ask questions, he said. But she had so many! Keeping her head lowered, Frey simply mutters a late response, “...of course I trust you, dummy.”
Whatever he had in store, she had to brace herself for it. With her free hand, she wipes the remainder of her tears, the distraction dismissing them for now. She felt like such a gross mess, her eyes sore from repeated crying. Maybe getting air outside would help her, somehow? No matter how small?
Due Date
[Meg:]
Margaret admits to being surprise to get an invite by Frey one afternoon, days (or was it weeks, even?) since they last saw each other. There was some distance; distance she assumes would disappear once Frey realizes she cannot take the burden of her heartache alone. After all, she told her similar words when she first arrived in the city so she should know it was alright to approach her? A part of her felt terrible for being happy with where she was at with Lest while her best friend felt the need to hide the woes of her heart from her. Perhaps that was why? Out of respect for her decision to shoulder her troubles, Margaret had decided to wait for her time. And when she got the call– from a cheery Frey, surprisingly– she assumed the wait was over?
Right after work, the blond songstress heads to the plaza. It wasn’t a very long walk as it was quite near the orphanage, but, as per usual, she was early. She had her viola with her and since there was still time, she decides to stick with her usual routine after work at the orphanage. Placing her case down, she opens it up and steps back a bit before breaking out into a performance.
She did not mind waiting, especially like this. It was always something she looked forward to after a long day, and as she grew anxious of what Frey could have wanted, playing music helped her calm down. After all, no matter the times, she was still a performer through and through.
Everything was finally in place and Frey couldn’t wait. Frey adored big gestures and she failed BIG TIME during Meg’s birthday. Did she ruin her birthday, she wonders? While it was a good stall till Lest showed up, she wondered even now if she would have preferred not having to deal with her during that time. The struggle of being a burden; Frey hoped never to be one for anyway yet she becomes one anyway. The twin-tailed woman shakes her head and pushes these thoughts away as negativity will only cloud her thoughts and keep her from doing what she wishes to do.
As she expected, Meg would arrive early. Conveniently enough, she started playing! “Okay, kid... so you don’t have to bug the lady anymore, but thanks anyway! Here.” Since the first part was taken care of for her, Frey dismissed the child she wanted to ask a favor from and handed him some money-- kids these days wanted money instead of candy, food or toys, weird! Then, as Meg performs, Frey finally appears, guitar strapped on.
Just like when they first met, Meg was still flawless in her performance and looked like she was in an entirely different world. Frey always admired that about her and although she wasn’t very skilled in musical instruments, she knew a thing or two about playing the guitar back when they first met. So, she took it out and invited herself in Meg’s performance back then. Meg thought her how to play more songs and vastly improved; so as she interrupts her this time around, she couldn’t hold back a girlish giggle as she strums the strings of her guitar and stands side-by-side with the blond musician. She wasn’t as amazing as Meg, but that was the thing about her music, it made her not care about skill or further complications, she just wanted to enjoy the music and have some fun. And that was exactly what she did. “Hey, stranger~♬”
One Step Forward
[ Gale: ]
A bright blinding light and a surrounding that was pitch black filled his dreams as he ventures into the unknown. In his dreams, there were only two aspects: himself, and the end of a tunnel. He was watching himself from the end of this tunnel, but he can’t ever turn around to see what was behind him. What he sees instead is himself running, walking, pausing… all these three things he does in his attempt to reach the end of the tunnel. There was laughter there, most certainly. Right behind him, he can hear the voice of his beloved, calling out, laughing. She was happy.
Gale was aware this was a dream; he didn’t have them often so when he does, he knows. A dream conjured by his head to mess with him, to make him feel less. Not for the first time in his life, it didn’t work. For even if his dream self failed to make progress as he ran, Gale knew better. He cannot rely on dreams, or stars or fate, there was only faith in his own actions. And should he end up in this path, it was only because of one of two things: he did not try enough, or she cannot find it in her to love or even like him as something more. The latter was alright, he thinks. As long as he did his part, he will be able to live his days without regret.
His dream fades as he hears a voice– the same one from the dream but much stronger. It was as if she was saying it right in front of hi–
“!!!!” Gale moves his head back in shock as he awakes to Frey directly in front of him. While it was a delightful surprise first thing in the morning, he was just waking from a dream that depicted an unfortunate turn of events. To see her here, now, it was a relief all in itself. But that thought alone summoned the question, “Why are you here?”
It seemed rude to be the first thing to say, but it was a question he said with no harm meant. He runs his hand through his bed hair and attempts to sit up, spotting a basket on the table near the couch. Ah, yes, he fell asleep on the couch. He expected to be woken up and lectured, instead, she greeted him so sweetly. And what did he do? Question her. Wonderful, Gale. “I’m sorry, I was just surprised and I wasn’t exactly having the happiest kind of dreams…” He says in an attempt for a take two of the greeting, his palm meeting his face for a few seconds before meeting her eye to eye, each color from his own pairing with her green ones. “…good morning, little bird. I didn’t expect to see you this ea–” One glance at the wall clock he had was enough to tell him it wasn’t morning anymore. He bit back his tongue and timidly looks back, face falling. “–nevermind. Good morning.”
Her excitement didn’t die down even as she waited for him to stir awake; she hasn’t exactly been present and having woke up full of undeniable cheer today did not erase the fact she was having particularly distant days before. It was fine, though. They were fine. While they did not spend every waking hour in contact with each other, Frey has always had this assurance Gale and her’s relationship would not be damaged by both time or distance. Not that it has been a particularly lengthy kind of distance; they were neighbors! And co-workers. Still, to be able to visit out of leisure and hang out was vastly different than simply seeing each other at the Circus.
When he woke up all confused and surprised, Frey wanted to punish him some by taking it to heart-- he didn’t look too delighted to see her, but Frey knew better. For as long as he knew Gale, he just wasn’t big on surprises, especially if he just woke up. Choosing instead to laugh it off, Frey shook her head, waving a hand around before propping herself up to sit with him on the couch, “It’s fine, it’s fine! I guess I’ll just stop visiting, then...” She trailed off as she picked up the basket she brought along, removing a thermos she filled with coffee that he liked. “...kidding! Bad dream, hm?”
She couldn’t help but linger on his first question, however: why was she here, indeed. First things first, though: his dream. Taking out the top lid, Frey poured some coffee on the cup slash lid, blowing it over once before handing it to Gale, head tilted to the side as she pressed on about this dream of his, “Why I’m here can wait. Mind telling me your dream first? I have a lot of experience with bad dreams, you know~” Definitely not something she should be proud of, but it was something they shared. Maybe not always, but every now and then she’d mention a dream, or rather, a nightmare to him in hopes of shedding some sort of light to it. He was wise, after all. A man of stories, of old tales, and perhaps, of explanations. This time around, maybe she can ease his mind?
Days Gone By
[ Lest: ]

It’s when Frey starts grinning at him as if she’d won the lottery while she calls him names was when he he knew that she was, more or less, back to normal. Who knew that he’d miss having her address him as Dumdum? Who knew that the nickname that he’d hated hearing was… actually comforting to hear? ( Well, not really. Perhaps, just this one time. )
“If you can say that it’s never too late for hugs— then, I say that it’s never
too early for hugs! And, besides, it’s your fault! You woke me up.
I was having such an intense dream too…”
He loosened his arms when she pulled back ever so slightly— to grin at him, to greet him personally this time around. All of his original plans of pretending to be upset with her went down the drain and, somehow, he was left to send her a silly grin of his own. Heh. It had always been this way, hasn’t it? Despite winning most times during their banter, he could never truly win against her when she smiles at him like that.
“…Heh. You already said that. Anyway, are you hungry?
I can make us both some breakfast.”
She coudln’t help but snort at the mention of his so called intense dream. Just earlier, she heard him say something about green ranger. Was he having a dorky dream again? Pffft!!! She’d trade that over her nightmares, but, thankfully, there was no need for that. Her lucky charm already cured her of those wretched dreams. “Lest, please. Green ranger does not equate to an intense dream!”
The offer for breakfast was endearing. Anyone who knew them can vouch how mediocre their cooking skills were, and add that cooking fiasco from way back when, oh boy. Cooking. “Are you sure? You want to cook for me? What has gotten into you!” She could say the same for her, but she chooses not to acknowledge the former elephant in the room-- that one was already far, far away.
“Well if you want to, who am I to stop you, right? He he.” Like the spoiled sister that she is (and daughter, too!), she crawls back to bed, pulling the covers to her chest as she lies back down on her soft pillows, declaring her simple demand, “In that case, breakfast in bed, please!”

Recently, his twin had mentioned how her nightmares have stopped occurring— and, strangely enough, was taken over by “weird” ones. She mentioned that there was this person who wanted to take over the world so that he could be the center of the world or something like that. She also mentioned something about everyone turning into robots.

Explanations? Hah. They required none of that. Frey prided herself for being the other half to the Valor twins. A brother and sister that loved each other truthfully-- to the point they even lived AND roommed with each other as adults-- and found no need for lengthy explanations and such. Frey felt like herself again and the first person she had to thank was embracing her so tighttly, it was comforting.
Instead of complaining or whining about this, she laughed-- a loud, hearty laugh-- as she wraps her arms around her brother, too. She knows-- oh Goddess, she knows-- that the same good feeling she had was not invisible to her brother. There was no need to ask him why he rushed to hug her like this and she couldn’t be happier.
“It’s a little too early for hugs, dum dum!” She says so after pulling back a bit, a bright grin on her face before greeting him back once again-- a less loud but still sincere greeting-- “Good morning.”
Due Date
There was so much she wanted to say to her best friend. I’m sorry I haven’t been myself for a while. I’m sorry I wasn’t too present on your birthday. I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m sorry. Even if she tried to keep it together then, she was still scattered and all over the place-- even when they went out for her birthday, she was too distracted and failed to do what she always does: give her 120%.
She was her closest friend in the world, for Godess’ sake! She should have exerted more effort... should have stopped being so selfish and actually spoiled the person who never failed to show care and concern for her... While those regrets can never be fixed, she was determined to make up for it, at least.
It was a curse of some sorts, but she was never good at giving gifts that can be bought. She was incredibly bad at it, and it wasn’t even because she was a cheapskate! It’s just... she leaned more on the personal gifts; gifts she can make mixed with inside jokes and symbolisms only her and the receiver will understand. It gave her some sort of strange satisfaction to know her message was sent even and the bond she thought they had was truly there.
Not wanting to bother her at work, Frey made sure to meet up with her properly, setting a time for their little meeting. Frey knew how much of an early bird Meg can be, so this time around, she goes there incredibly early not just to outstage her, but also to set everything up. Hours before the time they agreed on, Frey heads to the plaza.

When her mood brightens, one of the first few things she does is inform a certain someone. They happened to have a certain deal once this faithful day finally comes, and she’d be lying if she says she hasn’t thought about it a few times ever since it was made. It became an awkward declaration, they agreed to go somewhere nice and fun. A date. An actual I-want-to-see-you-differently kind of date. In the past she would never have considered this, never would have dared cross that line. Yet the heart was so... strange. Even now she can’t exactly explain why, but she feels different. He seems different. But when they do stumble upon each other, they continue to do the same things, and are still very much themselves. The heart really was so strange and unpredictable... Frey didn’t complain, however, and allowed it to do as it pleases.
And as she made her way to her neighbours home not so far from their farm, a small basket full of food in hand, Frey felt slightly embarrassed yet incredibly excited. She should have texted him, or called. But no, here she was, knocking thrice on his door before breaking and entering with the spare key he entrusted her, fully aware he would be sleeping at this time of the day. The weekends are for sleeping, he told her before since they worked during the week. And truly enough, he was there on his couch, sleeping.
Oh, you. She quietly chuckled as she wondered what he could have done last night if he was too tired to even reach his bedroom. Hopefully he didn’t venture too far out into the forest to tire himself out for today-- he needed to do his end of the promise! Sleeping on the couch, geez... Then again, he was weird and liked the couch more. Fortunately, this was an advantage for Frey. If he was in his bedroom, she would have hesitated coming closer. She was still a woman after all, even with their level of comfort. But, this was a safe zone. Ehe he.
Placing the basket on the table alongside the couch, she crouches down beside him and sweeps away some of the hair on his face, a small smile appearing. It was past noon yet here he was, still asleep. She’d give him a lecture but she wasn’t exactly the perfect example of a person with good habits. Instead of loudly waking him up, she shakes his shoulders lightly until he stirs awake.
“Gale, Gale, Gale.” She repeatedly says his name, a hint of excitement, an obvious good mood surrounding her. When he does open his eyes, her smile softens and she greets him, “Good morning.”
