A Pink Scarf/Pink Carnation (Gwen/???)
Well, here she was. Dressed up in a different dress and a pink scarf. She found it buried in the back of her closet. It must have been there for years, probably from when she was a kid. Now she would be easy to find for her date.
Of course, she had work to do first. It was convenient that she was to meet them at the race track. She brought her outfit in with her duffelbag and went about her business until it was closing time. A bit of perfume helped a tad with the smell of horses and sweat--or at least she hoped so.
So, she sat on the railing of the track. As she waited, Gwen imagined. She imagined riding around the track, Millie and herself moving as one. Oh, the feeling she got from riding. It was just enough to hide her fear of what might happen with meeting her “one true love”. Deep down, she knew that didn’t exist and, even more so, she had never done anything to provoke a one true love within her; or made someone else feel it about her, for that matter. She continued to imagine, losing herself in the feeling of it.
