Happy Birthday, Beatrix! ☀️ 🌈 There’s a lot to say about Bea but on her special day I’d like to think back to where it all started. This is the very first page draft I sketched out viciously from behind the table while helping out @june--box vend at event. It’s also the first time I ever talked about Grim City and what I meant to me in public when I met @/sickdaymagazine (insta) for the first time and we talked shit about the current art scene in the digital age and how important physical media is, more importantly how much community means when it comes down to it. I pitched Grim back then as more of a “wouldn’t it be cool,” but now we’re really doing it. 1 year later, we have 100+ pages and Beatrix in some weird way has made me so many new friends and memories in my community by having something I feel passionate about to share and a genuine curiosity about what makes others’ passionate, that similar strike of lightning.

Anyways, Happy Birthday, Beatrix. I can’t wait to tell the rest of your story.

Of Slime and Stardust - Prologue

I’m so happy to begin sharing this project with all of you. This comic has been something I’ve been trying to realize for many years now. I finally feel like I’m actually well equipped in my art, writing, and timing to be able to handle a webcomic series. This comic will be great for me to exercise my graphic novel abilities and then some. I hope I can keep up with it for as long as possible. No matter what happens, I’m already so proud of what I’ve made. I can’t wait for you all to meet Corette, Hyu, Radic, and the rest of the OSAS cast!

I’ve been playing Mistria every other day after work to cope with insane stress lol… ENJOY!!! He has taken over my brain! He’s in love with Caldarus in the most tragic doomed yaoi way (BUT NOT DOOMED FOREVER WE HOPE.. A STORY OF PERSEVERANCE…..) more stuff under the cut

He becomes friends with Balor and Valen first, taking him a second to adjust and warm up to the townsfolk on a deeper level. He’s always happy to help, though, and the people look up to him. He’s afraid to let them down, though, with a deep-rooted guilt somewhere deep down… he feels an overwhelming sense of dejavu in Mistria. Has he been here before…?

Wizard is usually in the mines, or in the deep woods muttering to himself if he isn’t on a quest.
