IF YOU'RE READING THIS, YOU'RE GOING TO RECEIVE A SURPRISE BLESSING THIS WEEK
““Some people claimed that the most beautiful thing anyone had ever done for them was writing them a poem, composing a song, or confessing their undying love in an epic gesture. But right then, as I was cocooned in Aaron’s long legs, his fingers delicately massaging my neck simply because I’d looked tense, I realized I didn’t need or want any of that. If I never got my epic declaration, I’d be fine. Because his words were, without a doubt in my mind, the most beautiful thing I would ever hear said about me. To me. And for me.””
— The Spanish Love Deception, Elena Armas
Love is a dagger. It's a weapon to be wielded far away or up close. You can see yourself in it. It's beautiful. Until it makes you bleed.
— Loki
"one of the hardest things to admit is that we weren't loved when we needed it most. It's a terrible feeling, the pain of not being loved."
- The Silent Patient, by Alex Michaelides
Much of my life had been devoted to trying not to cry in front of people who loved me
- John Green, Hazel Lancaster Grace, The Fault in Our Stars
“You make the darkest parts of me light up.”
Zh-ax
“You know that feeling, when you’re watching someone sleep and you feel overwhelmed with joy that they exist.”
— Beach Read, Emily Henry
"To be loving is to be open to grief, to be touched by sorrow, even sorrow that is unending."
-bell hooks
“There are so many worse things than death,” he said. “Not to be loved or not to be able to love: that is worse.”
Cassandra Clare, Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices, #3)

You know that feeling you get when you look at that one person. The feeling of butterflies in the pit of your stomach. You also start speaking to them, but like in your head. You think while gazing at them, 'There is no one else on earth who I would share my heart with, but please... just don't hurt me." Because they are the only person at that current time who you give the most power to hurt you. It's like falling with your eyes closed. You have no idea if someone is standing behind you waiting to catch you or if you might fall and continue to fall.
That's why the poets call it falling in love, I suppose.
Now I have to
remember you
for longer than I
have known you.
