y’all on the subject of bumbleby: lines are written a certain way for a reason, things are animated a certain way for a reason, words are SAID a certain way for a reason…the way blake’s voice cracks saying yang’s name in volume 4? the way adam says love instead of care about? while yeah there’s platonic love but he could see a difference in the way blake loves yang and sun. yang is someone blake loves, where sun was literally called a classmate. that’s PURPOSEFUL. the way blake looked at yang in 3x11? the fear there? They Really Animated That!! they really had blake give That look at the THOUGHT of yang running in there and getting injured, but just taking sun’s distraction (WHICH WAS HIM GETTING INJURED) to jump ilia. she doesn’t even panic until sun actually gets tased!!
