i can’t read Buddie fics where Buck calls Eddie anything other than Eddie. they made a point to say that Eddie hates being called anything else when they introduced him as a character, so why would Buck— his best friend/lover— call him by anything else? especially when Buck himself knows the importance of a name/nickname??
