partial government shutdown is currently going into week 5 or is it 6 honestly its a blur. what i can say and what i can put out there on this is simple.

what you are seeing and hearing is bluster. none of the people complaining in congress actually care about this. its simple, they arent worried about bills so this argument can be had until the cows come home and the chickens come home to roost at this point.

now as to who or what is to blame lets look at it from a truth aspect. this started when democrats demanded an overhaul of ice after the shooting deaths of american citizens in the streets by ice agents, after ice agents just started kicking in doors of homes of citizens "looking for illegal alien criminals", after the abuses discovered in detention centers,(including citizens being detained on suspicion of citizenship for too long), the detntion of children. the list goes on. but the fact remains that they demanded oversight and overhaul and said they were not going to agree to funding if it wasnt done.

now fast forward to the writing and posting of this. we are at a stand still. majority of democrats do not actually have a problem funding tsa and all the things except for ice. which by the way is techincally funded already but they asked for more money. go figure. and republicans have shot down the attempts to get those agencies set by claiming and all or nothing stance. so its not just a oh but the democrats hate america situation. or vice versa.

then add to the mix the newest revelation by none other than the president where he says the republicans shouldnt pass anything until the save act is done which absolutley fuck all to do with this. you get what started as a democrat led attempt to hold a government agency accountable for being run poorly to the leader of the country throwing a tantrum about his version of saving america. this shut down is hurting the workers. not the guys arguing about it. that is all that matters.

ive mentioned this before, that the illegal immigrants that lived here before trump pay a lot into a system they cant access. but have any of you supporting this considered what happens when that money goes away? when those jobs are vacated? who or what makes up those losses? the citizens? are we talking about the same citizens that need government assistance lest they work 3 jobs and still cant really make ends meet? that doesnt fix the problem it makes it infinitely worse. if citizens take the jobs emptied by mass deportations that is just going to increase the amount of citizens needing assistance. you know those scary socialist programs you guys like to yell about? yeah they would drown because more people would need it.

what happens to the industries if citizens dont fill those gaps like the gop thinks they will? food doesnt get made. which increases the demand for it but doesnt increase the supply btw. houses dont get built and it doesnt free up the market to buy cheaper ones or rent cheaper. factories dont get built so those factories that wanted to move here to avoid those pesky tariffs are forced to stay abroad and eat the tariff charge or put it on the customer. do you all not see what is being created with no real plan to fix the net deficit that will come from the loss of the tax revenue of those pesky immigrants, the government is creating a fiscal black hole that will be impossible to get out of. and demanding billions of dollars to deport them with no real way to cover that especially because you are taking away the money being brought in is making the hole bigger.

the partial payment of snap wont pay back the money that was taken to cover it during how ever long it takes to get it. so if it takes until after dec for this to work then how much more can a person decline to pay a bill over eating? guess we will have to see huh...

EMTALA mandate says that ers treat patients in emergency situations regardless of citizenship status. what that means is when you walk in with a sniffle they have to treat you, and if a lady walks in in labor about to give birth they have to safely deliver her baby and care for her until safe to release. if a farm hand from Ecuador comes in with heat stroke they get treated as well. then the hospital goes and applies to get reimbursed for the treatment of all three patients because none of them had health insurance.

now lets take a closer look at who this argument from house republicans and especially mike johnson that says that this whole shut down is because the democrats want to give free health care to illegals. the lens when zoomed in shows that what the democrats are asking is to restore the ability for hospitals to be able to request reimbursement at the levels they were pre-trump spending bill. its not asking to give this to illegal aliens because the hospitals dont know that information. they are just trying to be able to afford treating those that need assistance in an emergency. by initiating this cut the republicans are applying a blanket cut to er reimbursement because you cant cut the flow of cash to the illegals with out doing to the american citizens using it too. they dont want you to know that because it destroys the narrative that this about democrat greed. and it would force them to acknowledge they are hurting the very people who support them. gop caps arent anti illegal they are actually anti make america healthy again.
