A Tension to Detail, Gerard Harris
This one man comedy was a performance that focused on storytelling. So there was no need for a set. It was simple and very effective.
Sit Still Look Pretty, The Dance Movement
A beautiful series of dances choreographed by Ashley Morrow. The dance show focuses on the roles women are forced into and the pressures put on women. I found the costumes to be very effective. All the dancers wore a pale body suit with a black cage across their torso.
Dancing on the Dark Side, The London Dance Ensemble
A dance recital type performance. There were countless costume changes, and a few small set pieces. The shows theme seemed to be nightmares or fears that we all have. THe ensemble was a mix of very young children and teenagers, so the content reflected their ages. The largest set piece they had was an elevator decorated with chains.
God is a Scottish Drag Queen III, Mike Delamont
I had never experience a God is a Scottish Drag Queen show before. It was as good as everyone had say it was. This stand up show only needed a projection screen and his signature floral skirt blazer combo.
