The announcement of Mega Man Dual Override had me excited, and then the announcement that they were doing another Robot Master design contest had me over the moon!! My creative juices have been flowing overtime since the announcement, and here’s my work in progress, Safari Man (or Safari Woman)!

They’re a Robot Master designed after the ‘suction’ base robot provided by Capcom. They’re designed to invoke an elephant, gorilla, and cheetah; three exemplary animals of the animal kingdom crammed into one design as Dr. Wily attempts to prove his brilliance to Mother nature herself!

Safari Man’s trunk arm is the key to the robot master’s abilities. The trunk is able to suck up pools of water with 3 potential purposes within a boss fight: 1. To lob stored balls of water out of the trunk, 2. To quickly cool the overheating cheetah legs system after running around with the speed of a cheetah (similar to speed gear usage), and 3. To gradually (and then to comedic proportions) inflate the gorilla arm with water to increase the heft of its massive strength and deliver a punch that gets stronger with more water as the battle goes on (similar to power gear usage)!

This Robot Master is a little freak, but I’m proud of them thus far. I’m not sure if I’ll even enter the contest because I’m a bit nervous about making a Twitter account, but we’ll see. For now though here’s my progress so far and idea, and I’m super excited to see all the OC Robot Masters that the Mega Man fandom comes up with!

is an extremely good film. i dont watch a lot of media, but they managed to turn one of the most tired and exhausted pieces of media in to something really good. 10/10

LUV-DRIVE - Future Paradox Luvdisc

ABILITY: Deep Archive - Luv-drive takes reduced damage from pokemon registered in the trainers pokedex.

Even by the time of Luv-drives creation, CD technology was rapidly becoming a thing of the past. Its purpose was to test the limits of the conventional hard drive, seeing how fast it can truly go. Due to the excessive heat it produces, it is typically submerged in water, or any other coolant.

ABILITY: Huge Power

Rex disc to this date is the largest known specimen of Luvdisc ever recorded. Studies suggest a colony of luvdisc was isolated in a lake free of predators millions of years ago, letting them grow to enormous sizes.

MEGA LUVDISC

ABILITY: idk

Empowered by the thousands of bonds and relationships it has, the warmth and hope of its loved ones gives Luvdisc the focus it needs to power through battles.

one of my friends prompted me with "draw a Primordial Soup pokemon" so i sketched this in like a minute. I made it look like a cup because haha soup

Biotafran, a pokemon created in the depths of earths earliest oceans, where the conditions were just right for the start of life.

an idea i had for a fossil fakemon based on the Dickinsonia, a long extinct species from the Ediacaran.

Spriggle - Stat Spread: 100/1/30/1/45/97 (BST: 274)

Spriggle is quite an unusual specimen, living in a world before any predators entered the fossil record, thus not needing to ever attack or defend itself. Theories suggest that Spriggle was driven to extinction after the introduction of the first macro predators, such as Anorith.

Zaglateir - Stat Spread: 150/30/45/75/60/106 (BST: 466)

ABILITY: Common Ancestor; All switches have the Baton Pass effect.

Studies suggest Zaglateir was Spriggles response to the new predators entering the ecosystem, being much stronger than its previous evolution. However, very few Spriggle ever lived long enough to evolve in to Zaglateir, leading to their sudden disappearance from the fossil record.
