whew it's taken a hot minute finishing this lol i have some headcanons i needa vomit out cuz i think egg is cool and he was very fun to draw:

-he wears gloves. i think this is self explanatory i can't picture him not having gloves

-the quills he uses to write come from the feathers on his wings

-he can conjure up projections of his memories and concepts. i like to imagine they're in the style of (oddly specific) antique world maps and ouija boards.

-he carries around a business card in his breast pocket and a handkerchief in one of his pant pockets

-his clothes are quite literally fused to his body - they are his being. you can't tear them off no matter how many wemmbus bite at him. very elasticky despite the deceiving soft feel of fabric.

-his true form (sorry yikes it's a bit of a messy painting) is basically a 1:1 of a biblically accurate angel. (PLS SKIP THIS BULLET POINT IF YOU ARE SQUEAMISH)this is super specific but when he transforms into this form, the veins in his all seeing eyeball burst out and pulsate.

headcanons:

-i like to imagine egg taught him how to fly

-the substance on his elytra doesnt impede his flying abilities it's just kinda unsettling and gross to touch. production of said substance seems to increase exponentially when he kills a lotta ppl. it is impossible to completely get rid of the substance.

-has to regularly trim his nails but bc of his nature as a demon, they grow back very quickly which is why he has to wear nail guards

-prolly has to get egg to shave down his horns
