I haven't done anything in color for awhile aaaand yea I would say I enjoyed this. I love color sm, I wish it didn't feel so intimidating to color stuff :p
I was just doodling some outfits for Slingshot for fun and kind of just rolled with it... So far that I wrote a whole oneshot for it. Here I went a little off the rails tho... Gonna go play Pest Bossfight now lol

I made da boys all their own little symbolic things of the others! I'm sentimental so they all have to be too. Everybody say "Aawwhhh" in unison

Coils first energy crystal reminds him of his pursuit of power /pos
Wolf has a paw and a tail; paw sharp and rigid with red crystal claws -protection, and blood-, tail round and soft with blue crystal drips -comfort, and tears-. Based off what I perceive as a very harsh parenting style Wolf takes on and Coil sleeping in her tail.
Boombox's were made to resemble each phighters physical appearance (and body type only for Skateboard), for in place of keeping something that is supposed to be symbolic to the inphernal it's based off, he keeps a literal piece of them, hes never apart from them. (Bc cute and he lonely)
Slingshot's has a bow of thread on the back resembling his uniform design. (Also for my boomshot bias bringing emphasis that his is different. Which also ties into the fic I'm writing; the thread won't be seen or known and Boombox in my fic is going to be very dense to understanding his feelings, for more reasons than him just being a little dumb btw! (Quite the inside scoop >;3c))
Coils has fangs for his anger issues, and is also a hollow clip bc he doesn't share his past with people, there's a hollowness to his words and him without it. Has been dropped accidentally but not fixed, it was "an interesting coincidental place for a crack"
Coil and Skate's clips being crossed bc they are a part of the new trio Sling's not included in. (Yes I'm complaining about the rewrite. I hate it. Also some things don't make sense to me objectively.) Skateboard's being over Coil's bc Boom and Skate are closer
Skateboard's has his freckles and is much tinner than the rest. Also with an additional piece for the skate fam depicted as Skateboard's (star) inner circle (the circular shape)
Slingshot has a patch resembling Shuriken's face tattoo/marking (not sure honestly). All the siblings will be depicted with this symbol.
Skateboard's patch depicts his fall into Craterdust, to be seen as a saving grace with his heroin characteristics -circles jutting out from the direction he's falling adjacent to halos-. (Like the design on his shirt)
Boombox's also depicting his fall. (Designed with heart shape sewing for my boomshot bias. Which yes also ties back to my fic with Slingshot's feelings to be known and displayed, later obviously it's still a slow burn fucker. (I actually plan on making him quite flirtatious- WHAT!? WHO SAID THAT?! What? Nothing... Ahem...))
Boombox's also is supposed to resemble his physical appearance, and body type, with a thicker band look with grey circles a like to his piercings. A connection star bead with string coming from both end, to be like Boom's horns. (Boom is the star awwwwhhhh)
Coil and Boom's crossed for the trio again; Boom on top for Skate and Boom's closer relationship.
Slingshot's is made with a white fuzzy yearn to be like his fur, with a horribly tied knot for Sling's tail and Skates "whatever" ness. (Bead could also tie into my fic bc Skate like half works for Sling (he'll do deliveries from time to time, competition.))
Coil's made of a sturdy cord burned together and wrapped up to capture his 2 toned self.
Skate fam's has many beads for each inphernal that's a part of it, with a bead depicting Skate in center. With still room for more :)

I don't like ever write, at least not like this, and it's really nice, I love it! Having a hobby that doesn't destroy my wrist as much is nice. ^^
I'm projecting. Boombox goes nonverbal a lot, more in the way of "trio, so I can shut up and they'll entertain each other" type way but also when he's down in the dumps :p
This feels stupid and unrealistic I'm aware just shut up. Boombox just likes music too much to ever say no to playing for someone ok, and bc something the last part will make clear, unless your dense ig idk

The top one was me playing around with the colors for Boombox and me "complaining" about the abundance of angst with Boombox I've seen lately. Also I realized a lil bit ago that I've never really drawn any phighting characters in the Roblox style which feels like a sin honestly
