{Some kiddos for y’all. I know the shading almost looks like Jinx is a ghost I promise she’s not I just can’t commit to drawing feet mdudes.}
{Mun: is working on two separate dnd campaigns, has an online show to revise and act in, is writing a webcomic and is trying to organize creative ideas to promote a theatre company all while trying to distract herself from heartbreak and stir craziness from being stuck inside all day everyday-
Mun: But what if I started roleplaying again?}
Hey...
So, no fancy text or anything yall. I wanted to say some stuff while there’s so much happening.
I’ll try to make it short and sweet.
I hope the 6 people who still follow this blog are doing well, staying inside, staying safe. I hope you all are healthy. I miss yall, really I do. I miss the kids, and writing for them. I had a little bit of inspiration to write more superhero stuff recently. I haven’t shared it with anyone since I started writing it like... last year. This year has been hell, truly. Writing doesn’t really do it for me anymore if I’m being blunt. Acting has become my thing. (I guess it’s still roleplaying in a way lol, never gave it up.)
So yeah. This blog is pretty much dead. Sorry to the one new follower I got (hi, I did see ya, and I’m sorry to disappoint but ya know.)
It’s just not my thing anymore. I hope yall understand, and I’m glad to see there’s still people I felt close with who love it and continue cause yall are fantastic writers and you’re all so awesome.
:)
I love yall. I hope you’re all safe and well.
Keep writing. Keep creating. Keep growing.
If anyone needs a good chat I’m always available on my main.
Bye, yall. You’ve taught me a a lot.
A Poem for Class
Laurence Luna
He was a man who always had his head in the clouds
But his wife and daughters were always there with him
His oldest flew even higher than he did
His youngest a close second
His wife remained close by his side
For his family he’d do anything
He went back to school
And studied the stars
Got a degree and bought them a house
He cherished his girls
He cherished his wife
He cherished his loved ones
To the end of his life
It was in that house where he burned
Where his body was left half to ash
Where he was turned into stardust
He was buried with his youngest
Side by side
What little of them was left
At the highest point of the tallest hills
Where the view of the stars was the best

Death Walker - Origins

{Warning: it’s angsty and has mention of kidnapping and death.}
I know that no one ever listens to the “villains’” side of the story. No one cares for their opinions, ‘cause it’s always evil and ill-intentioned. It always takes the villain capturing the hero in order for them their tragic backstory.
Yeah… I get it… I’ve seen it millions of times.
I can’t say I can’t sympathize with all those guys in superhero media. No one listening to you when you’re just trying to explain. And I’m not trying to say what those villains do is justified, but… Sometimes I feel like all that conflict can be avoided if the heroes would just listen to the villains… Hear them out? Speak to them?
I don’t know… I guess I’m getting off-topic.
Well… From the start.
I was a pretty normal kid. At least… That’s what I thought. Then I went to school, and my peers made it all too clear that I didn’t belong. And that was even before I knew I was superhuman.
My parents took me out when the bullying didn’t stop. I was homeschooled after that. I received a better education at home than I ever did in a classroom. At the time my father had started his own business after working for numerous engineering companies. He always told me that I’d work alongside him when I got older. That one day I’d take over as the owner. I was always so excited because I knew what that company really was. A way to protect people. Superhumans. People who were fighting for the right to live a world that saw them as wrong. Dangerous.
People like my mother. She was so powerful, so gentle. She had a blessing of a superhuman ability. She was able to heal wounds beyond medical repair. Mom had a way of helping people, and when people found out about it, half of them wanted to take advantage of it and the other wanted to destroy it.
So… When I first found out about my abilities…
I hid it. I kept it to myself. I internalized my powers so that I didn’t put more stress on my family.
Mom was pregnant at the time, and dad was just starting up his business. There was so much backlash that they were facing. I couldn’t add to it.
In fact, I thought, at the time, that removing myself entirely from their lives would be what was best. So I did.
I ran away.
For a while, I hung out in graveyards. Ghosts were the only beings I could really talk to. It took me a while to accept it.
Though, it didn’t last long. After a while, some people start to notice a ratty kid by himself in graveyards…
I was picked up by a guy who tried to do the whole “want some candy” thing. When I refused and tried to run away he just managed to catch up to me and grab me. I was pretty weak, so it wasn’t difficult to knock me out.
From then on I went from lab to lab. I’d be tested on and used for slave labor.
When I found out about my parents’ murder I made it my goal to free myself. I trained with my gifts any chance I could. It often got me a few beatings, but I never gave up.
Years later, when I was finally an adult I managed to get more comfortable with my powers and got out of there.
I don’t know how I managed it… But I did.
That same year I find out that a new girl was running the company. Some eighteen-year-old. Then I found her name and I couldn’t help but long for my family.
I realized she was my sister. I thought she’d know who I was. I went back to our family home just to see that it was burned to the ground.
Jinx saw me there and immediately chased me off until I had to hide. I never even got the chance to explain who I was.
She wasn’t going to give it to me.
I needed more information before I tried to speak to her again.
So I hung out around graveyards. I gathered every piece of information I could find. I strengthened my powers. I wanted to use them for good.
But everything I did… Every good deed I tried to do got shot down by Jinx and her team… Just because I deal in death and ghosts and reanimation…
They still don’t understand… They don’t want to…
But I will make them. I will show them…
I’m not the villain they make me out to be.

Dream Weaver - Origins
{Another Superhero AU backstory~}
Let’s get this over with.
My name is Jinx Luna. I am the only heir to the billion-dollar company Space Corp, a research laboratory that makes and sells equipment to the biggest space exploration companies in the United States. At least, that’s what we are on the surface.
My father built this company up from the ground as a way to hide and protect people with superhuman abilities. He saw the unjust treatment of people like my mother. People with extraordinary abilities out of their control. Apparently, someone didn’t like the idea of a successful human man being married to an openly super woman. And having children. So they were murdered.
Their home was burned to the ground and they took everything from me. My sister. My father. My mother. Everything that had meaning to me.
I was placed in foster care. Space Corp’s VP took over for the eight years I was left going from home to home. Each one regretted taking me in. I was a smart enough kid I guess, I just couldn’t stop getting into fights. Each suspension brought me closer to expulsion and each expulsion brought me to a new home.
Once I turned eighteen and I took over my inheritance. I got back on my feet. I took over as president and rightful owner of Space Corp and rebuilt what the vice president had ruined because of ignorance. I fired him and sent him on his way. I upped security, swore the staff to secrecy and let go of people who agreed with the ex-VP’s way of running things. I swore to a no-nonsense way of running this company, and I intended on bringing it up past its former glory and achieving the dream my father never got the chance to.
I took on this responsibility fully aware of what I was getting myself into. I needed to find and protect all kinds of supers from all over the US. And maybe even the world. That’s the goal anyway.
I even managed to put together a pretty sturdy team. I met Doctor Psyche first. She became the first person I ever considered a true friend. And then Flash Freeze and Heat Stroke came out to the world as supers and volunteered themselves and their companies as allies. Everything mostly went smooth. There were always a few bumps in the road. The occasional enemies that took time to defeat.
And then The Skull appeared. At least, that’s what we called him at first. He calls himself “Death Walker.”
He became our top priority. Detain him and stop him from terrorizing the city.
Only problem?
I think we may be connected somehow.
And I’m determined to find out how.

Well, let’s see. I guess I should start from the beginning.
My childhood didn’t start out great. I was born to a very loving mother and father. Unfortunately, they couldn’t handle the loss of my twin sister. They put me up for adoption after she died. They couldn’t handle the loss of one child, so they decided they couldn’t keep the other. So I grew up in the adoption system. I immediately got scooped up by a very nice woman. I stayed with her until I was 5. I barely have any memory of her, sadly. She met a man and they got married very quickly only for her to be mysteriously found dead just weeks after. No one assumed it was her new husband. He got full custody of me after her death. I was devastated. He assured me it would all be okay. He told me he would take me out to eat to make me feel better. Get some ice cream.
Instead, he locked me in a tiny white room and ran a bunch of tests. I went through this for years. He connected me to a machine daily. Pumped me with drugs. Messed with my mind. He was trying to reprogram me. He put a chip in my brain that he would use to control me if I wasn’t obedient. I never was. So I was essentially tortured to the point where I was too exhausted to not comply.
Eventually, they got tired of testing on me. They weren’t getting the results they wanted so they decided they’d throw me in a room and forget about me entirely. Needless to say, I grew antsy. I was sixteen at the time and I had a hunger to know what was happening in the outside world. Even more than that, I needed revenge. For everything they put me through. For the childhood they stole from me. For the life they stole from my adoptive mother. I escaped based on pure wit and whatever strength I could muster. Turns out they had me trapped in a system that kept me from reaching my full potential. A potential they gave me and that I never knew I had. Once I reached the outside world I could hear so many voices in my head it was deafening. I could hear people’s thoughts from miles away. I managed to run away to somewhere quiet. Where I could collect my thoughts. That’s when things started following me. Moving. Objects began to defy gravity in my stead and I had no control over it. I practiced in the woods for months. Learned to take control. To suppress the power I had.
I was eventually found by the police. Put into the foster program. For the short amount of time I had left until I was an adult. Of course, no one wanted a newly seventeen-year-old with no education and barely any history. When I turned eighteen I was essentially put out on the street. For two years I lived my life on the streets, making money in street fights. Thievery. Whatever it took.
That is until I was found by Space Corp. I had heard about them, sure. Who hadn’t? Even in captivity, I heard of the tragedy that happened there. The company head and his youngest daughter were murdered, the wife missing and his oldest was put in foster care until she was old enough to take over the company. It was one hell of a surprise to be approached by that very girl. She was two years younger than me and the owner of a company that sold equipment to some of the biggest space exploration organizations in the country.
Why would they seek me out?
Well, as it turns out, they’d heard of a reckless young woman who had been coming out of street fights almost completely unharmed and they wanted to know how it was possible.
I said it was just luck. They said some people thought I was reading their minds.
More words were exchanged and soon enough they convinced me they were the good guys. They just wanted to help. They offered me a home. An education. A new start. As long as I helped them.
It was too good of an opportunity to pass up.
They don’t need to know about my plans for revenge.
That?
That’s personal.
