The Battle of Point Pelee, a key event in Pontiac's Rebellion, occurred on May 28, 1763, when a British supply convoy led by Lieutenant Abraham Cuyler was ambushed by Native American warriors. The battle resulted in significant casualties for the British and marked an early success for the Native American forces in their conflict with the British.

The Second Battle of Etchoe, also known as the second Battle of Echo, occurred on June 10, 1761, during the Anglo-Cherokee War. A British force led by Colonel Grant engaged with Cherokee warriors near the site of the previous year's battle, resulting in a Cherokee retreat after a six-hour engagement. Following the battle, Grant's troops destroyed Cherokee towns and crops in the Middle Towns region, significantly impacting the Cherokee economy and leading to a peace treaty in September 1761
