ive rly gotta figure out my search engines bc its been getting more and more dire trying to look up shit. its been bad for work for a while but even stuff more soecific and innocuous has been like pulling teeth. tried to look into the origin of system novels and each time the search decided to focus in on a different specific word completely ignoring my actual question and providing links to websites ive never heard of before or to broad definition websites (which dont even include the “system” im trying to look into) OR to online shopping websites for some fucking reason (marketing). i did start trying to switch over to duckduckgo when google announced the complete shift to ai browsing but i need to familiarize myself w duckduckgo still im v lost. i also had another search engine saved on my computer but idr the name atm. point is i need to familiarize w my new Tools that i was procrastinating on and honestly im not bothered w that bc ive disliked google’s fuckass everything for a while so ive actually been meaning to switch but the necessity of it all is what pisses me off. universal enshittification

HOWEVER. i mentioned a lot of what i like . now theres a lot that im hesitant for #rspecially given its intsys. i dont have any realistic hopes that shes written w the depth i hope for #revenge narratives. i likevthem. but the thing is that they are also fucked up sooooo often #bc of… idek what to call it. narrative cowardice. refusal to write Consequences. refusal to commit.#and ofc with women characters theres always the misogyny of it too. point being i dont get know how closely im going to be #paying attention to fortunes weave. i cannot condone the idea if my buying it unless its like. rly good #and. well. im sure ive bitched enough ant such things enough on here. my position on the rpg (jrpg in particular) designs for women #and also the general weakness in their personal narratives are things that rly piss me off. and again i cannot realistically believe that #intsys is like… gonna somehow make a game that is absent all the issues theyve had since conception. wrt the racism Or misogyny Or ableism #but i digress. ugh. i love a fictional woman who decides to devote herself so fully to a destructive cause. love a woman who is determined #to take out someone multiple someones even sometimes and also herself. yay. <3

sorry to talk abt fe and also complain abt it. but anyone that knows me knows i do love robin sooo so much but the idea that robin is the perfect my unit design in terms of gender equality or Being Progressive in general is ridiculous. yes in comparison to other fe titles frobin is at least wearing the same outfit as mrobin (she gets to actually have pants) but lets not lose the thread here. thats One good point in favor; 1) her canon design has the fuckass pigtails (which personal opinion i do think they can be cute but the dichotomy is ridiculous) 2) we rly cannot try to isolate design from writing in any judgment of the robins and so u Have to acknowledge how fucking stupid the support differences are, and its Specifically bc of misogyny.
