When the traveller and Paimon visit the Favonius keep in Nod Krai, they can't seem to find Grandmaster Varka. Instead, behind a worn down palisade, they find Nicole, who swears to assassinate the head of the knights of Favonius. And all for...a book!? Naturally, Lumine and Paimon have to hinder the witch's relentless attempts to complete her goal - while the Grandmaster stays oblivious to all of it. Until he starts acting rather suspicious himself... Will Nicole succeed in her aim to assassinate Varka, against the traveller's and Paimon's efforts to save their friend? And what is the Grandmaster hiding?
