Hello, I've had a pretty rough year and due to a bad relapse with my anxiety and other health symptoms, and along with trying to recover from burnout after a big move back in april I have been unable to work the last few months. Currently I'm trying to recover from all of that and I would like to return to work but don't know when that will be. Yucky is having a really bad allergy flare up that turned into a rash and the allergy shot he needs will cost $96 with a possible additional exam fee so I’m opening up walk sprite commissions for a limited time to help cover the cost! I’ve already tried other treatments with him and nothing is working so I’m hoping the shot will be effective orz

took him back to the vet and now im down $400 but at least the treatment worked this time 🙏 im reopening these to help recover some of the cost especially because I will be starting grad school in august and things will be financially tight when i lose my hours at work

Hell yeah to apey werewolves!!! Also there's a nice charm to werewolves that are kept clothed, as if they don't really magically gain mass and hulk out when going feral!

ok it says this ask is from october 2024 and i NEVER saw it???? but im on desktop right now and usually i check on mobile so idk what happened im so sorry anon but i promise i never ignore asks i love getting them!! T_T TY!! I kinda like to use clothed werewolves as a bit of a personality indicator! Some werewolves will rip their clothes off while others don't seem to mind or notice... and maybe some have some kind of recognition and want to stay clothed..... maybe.........

LOVE your monke werewolves, pls pls PLS show & tell us more of them~!

woah this ask is a huge surprise because that art has to be SO old and I haven't drawn a werewolf in so long. i love tumblr and permanence of it all. but really im happy to get an ask like this i dont get asks hardly ever UMM so I don't have any recent art of them T_T but I can talk about them and explain the concept! and now that I know someone is interested i might be more inclined to draw them more

this is my first time putting it all into words so i hope it all makes sense!!!

i really like monkeys and i liked the idea of lycanthropy turning people into something bestial but closer to us in the evolutionary tree than a canine. i based them mostly off of baboons because baboons are already really scary animals and they are extremely wolf like in their appearance and behavior.

here's some pics! they already kind of look like a mix between a human and a wolf! and imagine a werewolf drawing it's gums back like that in a threat display.

in universe my werewolves are still called werewolves something like weremonkeys because the term originated in europe in a time where the people living there were largely unfamiliar with monkeys, especially not baboons. when the curse started to pop up in europe the closest animal they had to compare the monsters to were wolves so the name stuck!

baboons also have a lot of behavioral traits that could be compared to wolves so i dont feel like im missing out on good werewolf tropes by changing the species.

they live in groups called troops with complicated social hierarchies so there can be werewolf "packs" in my universe. i dont have any strict structure for what a werewolf pack would be like since troop structure differs across species and werewolves are human most of the time and can sort of create their own dynamics. they also hunt and vocalize through barks and howls... and other sounds! my werewolves can't speak once theyve transformed but their vocalizations can sound uncannily human-like.

my werewolves can switch between quadrupedal and bipedal locomotion but they default to quadrupedal and knuckle-walk (this is more of a gorilla and chimp characteristic but i think it adds a uniqueness to my werewolves that youre not likely to see in other interpretations).

I should clarify (esp for people that know Yucky and know his problems) that his ears have been bothering him and the medication and check up were expensive. But he’s ok! It was nothing related to his back or legs and he’s actually getting stronger believe it or not! Still wears diapers tho

i know its always something but i have to take my other cat to the vet. he may have a urinary blockage and he can decline very quickly. im really worried about him and we can barely afford rent this month. idk how we’re going to do bills either. but whats important is my cat. hello everyone. i hate asking for help but this is very important to me. my cat was diagnosed with lymphoma and money is already tight. we have no way to pay for her treatment and vet visits. we cant even afford rent this month or groceries. theres no good time to get cancer but this really hit us at a terrible time. we really need help caring for her. shes such a sweet cat and really loving and idk i cant write this without getting upset. it would mean a lot if you could help out or reblog so other people can see it. anything is appreciated. thank you
