A chuckle could be heard coming from his lips when Atsuya ruffled his hair. No matter how long they were separated from each other, their bond never dissapeared. No— it became even stronger. "It’s great to see you again as well…"

❄ A sudden look of realization lit up Atsuya's face, then, as he turned his head to meet his twin's eyes solidly.

"Y'know, we haven't played soccer together in a while." (A while being years, yeah?)

"How 'bout we kick the ball around?"

It was nice to see that expression on Atsuya’s face. After such a long time it was so nice to see him without that grumpy expression— It had been quite lonely without his twin brother. It was most certainly great to have him back. “I’ve been fine— but I’ve missed you a lot though. I felt so lonely without you! How about you? How have you been?”

He said those words with a rather self-assured attitude; would he be Fubuki Atsuya if he didn't? Smile forming into a bit of a smirk, he ruffled his twin's hair.

A contented smile fell back onto his face.

"Good to see ya again."

"I’ve been away for a while, huh. Wonder how Shirou’s holdin’ up."

And there comes the oldest of the two, hugging the other from behind. “… Atsuya!”

The optimistic look on his face was a change - but then again, even someone as grouchy as the redhead could have his spirits lifted by seeing his twin again after quite a while.

Let's do a weird headcanon thing

1. What they smell like: You know when you go outside on a winter day and you take a deep breath and there's this crisp, cold smell? Like that. 2. How they sleep (sleeping position, schedule, etc): He has a pretty fucked up sleeping schedule. He rolls around a lot, kicks in his sleep, and when he finally settles down it's generally sprawled out on his back, snoring loudly.

He tends to wake up at early hours for about two hours and then go back to sleep. 3. What music they enjoy: Rap? 4. How much time they spend getting ready every morning: Not very long. Except on his hair... 5. Their favorite thing to collect: He collects scarves. Of course, his ever present fluffy white one is his favourite.  6. Left or right-handed: Lefty! 7. Religion (if any):  Agnostic. 8. Favorite sport: Soccer, of course! 9. Favorite touristy thing to do when traveling: He doesn't like to travel, really. But he does enjoy going to foreign soccer tournaments when he can. 10. Favorite kind of weather: Snowy weather! 11. A weird/obscure fear they have: He shares his brother's fear of loud noises, as well as his brother's fear of avalanches. 12. The carnival/arcade game they always win without fail: OH GOD, DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION.

As quiet as possible, Shirou walked towards his brother from behind. As soon as he had reached the other he gave the other a tight hug and a peck on the cheek. "A kiss on the check for the best brother ever!" (OMG SHIROU. He wanted to give Atsuya some love. Woops.

He tried to keep a cool and uncaring appearance, but an obvious blush had risen onto his cheeks at his brother’s actions. Honestly, Shirou was so embarrassing.

"Look at who finally admits it." Shirou teasingly stroked Atsuya’s cheek with his finger, just to see his reaction. He then finally let the other go, having hugged the other whole the time. Finally, they were actually being happy together.

His face flushed darker before his face relaxed into his usual somewhat discontent expression - however, there was the barest hint of smile in his eyes. He was...happy, he realized. Happier than he'd been in a while.

"Thanks, Shirou," he said after a moment.

However, after a moment his pout changed to a smirk.

"It makes me happy to hear that, Atsuya."

❄ Oh. Oh shit. He wasn't supposed to hear that. A full out blush took over Atsuya's face and he hid it in his hands before he raised his head back up, still flushed, a pout on his face.

"Y-yeah, whatever," he muttered, trying to play it off as cool. Trying. And failing.

Juuzou walked up to the stranger, eagerly accepting the challenge to make him smile. He held out a giant swirly rainbow lollipop and grinned like an idiot. 'Here, I'll share with you! No need to thank me.~'

"Uh, sure, I guess?"

A small smile light up his face - secretly, the boy had a sweet tooth. But he didn’t often admit that.
