I know I haven't really been active on here, but I wanna rant about Twenty One Pilots releasing the 'public' version of Drag Path and the double standard in the music community.

The tiktok fanatics are mad as hell that TOP is "gatekeeping" the original version, the version people paid for all those years ago; saying they're capitalists and greedy.

You know who else does this? Taylor Swift. Remember a while back, she released FOUR separate albums sets, with each including an exclusive song. And people paid for that..

So..why is Twenty One Pilots getting heat? And people don't even have to pay for the public version. Artists have been releasing deluxe versions, exclusives, alternate cuts, vinyl-only tracks, and limited editions for decades. This isn’t new. It’s literally how the music industry works.

If we’re going to have the capitalism conversation, let’s have it consistently. TOP could have just...not released the public version, people would be mad. Or they could have released the original version, the people who paid for it, would be mad. Damned if they do, damned if they dont.

Piss off with all that. Leave them alone. Sometimes fandoms forget that access isn’t ownership.

You Swifties need to leave Teair Tart alone. I just watched a couple videos from a Swiftie talking about how Tart is milking this, nobody has heard of him, and he's getting his "5 minutes of fame". Luckily a lot of the comments were against her, but of course there was Swiftie support too.

But what really got me were some of the comments bitching that Tart wasn't replying to their DMs. Like WHY are you DMing and harassing this dude? Jesus Christ, yall just never know when to stop, do yall?
