14. a fic you didn’t expect to write

i’m in the air, she’s in the clouds

listen, i have about a billion different ideas floating around my head at any given time, and i pop into them from time to time for a good daydream- then sometimes i blink and the google doc is already open.

major character death is probably the boldest thing ive written but i had a lot of fun with it! i loved getting to just lean into the absolute horror of the scenario. just “yeah man this is fucked” over and over. and right as im done i can launch out of it like haha that was crazy right?

i know i said in the end notes i wouldnt write anything beyond that point because it would be too tragic… well. it gnaws at me every day. the last thing i want is to just write a full fic of ohhh how could vi have done that. now shes going to be sad forever. man shes suffered enough!! but im constantly wracking my brain for a gracious way to do it because i do love tragic yearning…
