Today, I was diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety and it looks like my doctor believes medication is probably going to be the best option..

Is anyone familiar with the types of medication that goes all with fighting these mental illnesses? Any input would be great because honestly I’m really scared. Thx.

Prescription drugs should be a last resort tbh so make sure you’ve tried EVERYTHING else first before deciding to take medication.. Trust me, I’ve been on so many different kinds for depression and anxiety for 10 years of my life and it’s NOT fun… Especially switching between different meds is exhausting and makes you feel even worse. But if you are serious about it and have already tried other natural remedies and soothing techniques, Cipralex and Citolopram worked for me… Only side effect was brain zaps which happened daily no matter what my dosage was.
